The newspaper in Karachi is trying to fool the masses and offering them some feel good misinformation, by labeling Ahmadiyya achievements as those of non-Ahmadi Muslims.
It would be important to analyze, why do newspapers and sometimes non-Ahmadi Muslim scholars misappropriate Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s achievements without giving them due credit? Why cannot they be satisfied with the fruits that they are reaping from their own efforts?

THough its true that here the true Muslims praying and serving for Islam. But its interessting that many newspapers etc. misleading many with such news. I hope none of Ahmadi is involved in such news or newspapers, so none can blame us spreading false news.

کوئی واقعہ ہونے سے قبل روزنامہ امت کو اس کی اطلاع ہو جاتی ہے اور وہ پوری سٹوری کے ساتھ اسے شائع کرتا ہے، یہ کیسے ممکن ہوا کہ روزنامہ امت یا رفیق افغان کو یہ پتہ نہ چل سکا کہ یہ مسجد جماعت احمدیہ کی ہے اور یہاں واقعی حقیقی اسلام پر عمل پیرا لوگ اللہ کی عبادت کرتے ہیں۔
There is a Masjid Toronto on Dundas Street, but it’s a makeshift affair, nowhere close to our mosque. (The website boasts of it (the mosque) being the oldest in Toronto.) Apparently they are “collecting” for a planned “proper” new mosque. Who knows the Ummat Karachi pack of lies was to bolster donations.
The Ummat thing reminds me of Munnu Bhaee, a writer who wrote a column when I was in Pakistan (before 1972). His pet statement was: When there is abundance of falsehood lie so extensively that it becomes the truth. I could never quite decipher that, but apparently the Ummat Karachi folks are following the advice or whatever.

I request ‘Ummat’ to boast about Dr Abdus Salam as a Muslim Nobel Prize winner from Pakistan.
