ROMANSHORN. History repeats itself: Twice the people of Romanshorn denied Guelsen Karasu the request for Swiss citizenship. Now the naturalization commission also denies her daughter Hilal the red passport. Both are wearing hijab (a scarf on their head).

This is a disgrace for Switzerland. How can we ‘show off’ our democracy, when this is the result of it?
Muslims have a huge task in front of them to ‘enlighten’ the majority populations in the West that wearing Hijab is an honor and not something to be afraid of.
