Prime minister Mark Rutte is not yet convinced by the report commissioned by Geert Wilders into the reintroduction of the guilder, he told parliament on Tuesday.
He was reacting to a number of opposition MPs who asked him to comment on the report, which was published on Monday.
Several opposition parties, including Labour, left-wing liberals D66 and green party GroenLinks, want the report evaluated by the government”s macro-economic advisory agency CPB. However, Rutte says the cabinet will not ask the agency to do so.
