Ahmadiyya Times: By Imran Jattala: Monthly Misbah, a women’s magazine published by the Ahmadiyya community in Pakistan for decades is ordered banned on the recommendation of a board of mullahs constituted by Shahbaz Shareef, the Chief Minister of the Punjab province in Pakistan.
The District Coordination Officer (DCO) Chiniot, Dr Irshad Ahmad, issued orders to immediately ban the publication because, as Dr Irshad Ahmad cites, the Mutehida Ulema Board [United Clerics’ Board] has made the ‘observation’ to cancel the magazine’s ‘Declaration’.
“In the light of the… observation,” wrote DCO in his order, “I am convinced that Monthly Magazine Misbah is being published in contravention of Press, Newspapers, News Agencies and Books Registration Ordinance 2002.”
The DCO did not point out any specific issue of the publication found in any violations.
“It was informed that propagation of Qadianiat [a derogatory terminology for Ahmadiyya faith] is a crime Under Section 298-C of PPC,” wrote DCO, Dr Ahmad in his official order of February 15, 2012. “The monthly Misbah has been declared as propagating Qadianiat and as such recommended to be banned by Mutehida Ulema Board Punjab.”
“Therefore, I Dr Irshad Ahmad, District Coordination Officer Chiniot hereby cancel the declaration in respect of Monthly Magazine Misbah authenticated by the then District Magistrate Jhang with immediate effect,” the order read. “The printer of Monthly Misbah is directed to stop circulation of the Monthly Misbah forthwith under information to this office.”

and now Pakistan is a better state? Life has improved for its citizens? The Government of Pakistan has no other problems to solve?
Misbah Magazine is read by millions of women and children all over the world. The ban is violation of basic Human Rights, especially women rights.So called Shareef Provencal government is totally failed to uphold the basic human rights rather they are promoting fundamentalism and terrorism by giving funds to banned terrorist organizations. The international Human rights organizations and NGOs should take notice of this in-justified act of an official of Provincial government of Punjab Pakistan.
Why not have a webpage of these publications, for the time being, and read it online and/or print at home and circulate among the ones who cannot do so online?
Can this ridiculous and highly unjust Pakistani govt., block the reading of online material?
It could actually. It is easy to ‘block’ a website. OK, good ‘hackers’ might be able to get around it, but it could be ‘blocked’ from the usual local networks.

I’ve just read the link you sent me Rafiq sb, and it’s so interesting to note that the countries who make this software available to countries like Pakistan to block certain sites on the Internet, themselves have great objection for the same to be used in the countries of origin….
This sure is DOUBLE STANDARDS!

First of all I welcome you and congratulate you for posting your comments although negative, Still you have the chance of open mind and to come out of the chungle of fanatic Mullah. In the words of Allama Iqbal, “Deen-a-Mullah fee sbeelillah fasad” and in the words of Ghalib, ” Lag ho to ham usko samjhain Lagao …” at least it is your love for truth.
Now instead of going into lengthy arguments I want to draw your kind attention to the Hadith of Rasoolulla sallho alaihe wa aalihe wasalim. Out of 73 sects of Muslims 72 will be hell bounded and the 73rd will be going to Jannah(t) paradise. These 72 sects are not agreed on any other issue still shedding blood of one another, they are agreed only on that Qadianies/Ahmadies are kafars…Will you accept fanatic Mullas or Rasoolullah P.b.u.h.??

These type of rulers of Pj. who call themselves by the name of Shareef are sharif only in name because practically, they feel very pleased and happy in obeying the immoral demands and calls of the Mullah, about whom Allama Iqbal had said that these maulvis are very fond of making ‘fasad ( social upheaval and disturbances)in society in the name of God Almighty, ‘Fasad fi sabeelillah’. So banning the monthly ‘Misbah’ magazine of ladies of the world-wide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will make this person by the name of ShahbazShrif, in our national history as the most condemned and humiliated chief minister of punjab. Believe it that it was the same person, who tried to please maulvis by changing the name of the town of the Ahmadiyya headquarter from Rabwah to Chenab Nagar. Such ‘heroic’ acts and performances of by this man will render him to be called the most timid ‘Chirya’like CM amongst Pj. rulers. One should not expect anything from these rulers any ‘shareefana’,gentle-man-like performance.
