Members of the Leamington branch of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) are hoping to raise more than £240,000 for the Warwickshire Association for the Blind by taking part in a charity challenge.
More than 1,000 members from across the country are heading to Milton Keynes for the AMYA event on April 28, which will include running, walking and cycling challenges.
Last year the Leamington team raised £240,000 for charity – and they are keen to raise even more for this year’s chosen cause.

This posting makes me really feel great as a member of the Ahmadiyya Youth Association which is actively working (in more than 200 countries of the world)for similar noble cause of serving mankind as desired and described by the holy founder of Islam-e-Ahmadiyyat, Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Sahib of Qadian Darul Aman, the promised Messiah,(1835-1908). It is gratifying to note that The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth of Canada intends to collect more than 24o,000 pounds, an amount which they collected through Charity walks last year, Alhamdolillah. This humble scribe wish them great success in their ‘Khidmat-e-Khalq'(service to humanity) activities in all parts of the world for the long time to come, under the pious Caliphate of Hadhrat-e-Aqdus Khalifatu Masih,Al-Khamis(aba). Ameen.
