Indonesian Ahmadiyya Muslims distributed sacrificial meat to tens of thousands of people in various regions during the Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri celebrations.

Indonesian Ahmadiyya Muslims distributed sacrificial meat to tens of thousands of people in various regions during the celebration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah. The program is part of the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation (JAI)’s efforts to provide social benefits while strengthening the values of caring, brotherhood, and humanity within society.
According to JAI data, 1,952 Ahmadiyya Muslim members performed the qurbani (animal sacrifice) during this year’s Eid al-Adha. The meat was distributed to 28,706 beneficiaries across 125 regions across Indonesia. Zaki Firdaus Syahid said that the sacrificial worship not only has a spiritual dimension, but is also a means of strengthening social solidarity and concern for others. “Qurbani is a tangible manifestation of sacrifice, sincerity, and gratitude to Allah SWT. Through the distribution of qurbani meat, we want to ensure that the joy of Eid al-Adha can be felt more widely, especially by those in need,” Zaki said in his statement on Sunday (May 31).
According to him, the entire process of slaughtering and distributing sacrificial animals was carried out through mutual cooperation by members of the Ahmadiyah Congregation together with the surrounding community.

Zaki explained that the distribution of sacrificial meat is one form of real contribution from Ahmadiyya Muslims in helping communities facing various economic challenges.
