So mainstream Pakistani media is reporting that His Excellency, President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari was received by Lord Tariq Ahmed who is of Pakistani origin. The News especially seems to have made a big deal about the fact that it is the first time a peer of Pakistani origin has received a president on behalf of the Queen.
What our media omitted is that Lord Ahmed is an Ahmadi, a community that is terribly persecuted, abused and humiliated by the state and society in Pakistan. A diplomat once asked me if the discrimination against Ahmadis is a popular discrimination.

In my view it is a sign that sooner or later the homeland Pakistan will be saved from curropt politicians and mischievious Mullahs ,only by True Muslims called Ahmadi Muslims who are currently facing difculties in Pakistan and being hatred discriminated socialialy, tortured physicaly, also being killed on daily bases.
It is really a soul inspiring posting and an eye opener,(chasham kusha) truth that the more Ahmadiyya Muslim community of Pakistan is being victimized and prosecuted, the more they are showered, world-wide, new honors and respectful status in more than two hundred countries where they have strong organizational set-up.
And now comes another historical news that a recently appointed peer, member of the House of Lords, Lord Tariq Ahmad, of Pakistani origin/roots, became the first peer to receive, at London Airport, a President on behalf of the Queen. And what a unique coincidence that when the President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari made his recent visit to UK, it was Lord Tariq Ahmad, a member of the migrated Ahmadi Muslim family of Jhang, who received the Pakistani President on behalf of the Queen Elizabeth II. Alhamdolillah, all praise to God Almighty. Hereby I wish and pray that Lord Tariq Ahmad may continue to serve his adopted mother country, UK, in an outstanding manner. And it is also our ardent desire that he will do his best to bring Pakistan and UK all the more closer for the benefit of social and educational up-lift of the people of Pakistan. And now I beg leave with warm and sincere congratulations to you and all the dear brothers-in-faith, on this historical happy occasion.
It is still another happy news coming from the country of Queen Victoria, the longest reigning Monarch of UK and she had become the first Queen of British India when the controlling authority of the East India Company was taken over by the British government after the Mutiny of 1857 was failed. Queen Victoria was instrumental in establishing in British India not only peace but also allowed religious freedom as well as the right of preaching one’s religion. That’s why her rule was praised by all peaceful and peace-loving people like Ahmadi Muslims, by the grace of god Almighty. Here I may recall that one of our old members of our community, Hazrat Ch. Ali Muhammad, B.A,B.T, a school teacher of Qadian, was grand father of our respected Lord Tariq Ahmad. And he also enjoyed the most distinguished status of being one of the Companions of the founder of Jama’at Ahmadiyya, Hadhrat Aqdus Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Sahib, the promised Messiah. Alhamdolillah. Our respected ‘BT Sahib’,(as often known to all )had also served as editor of the monthly magazine,’Review of Religions’. May God bless his soul, Ameen.
All the above ‘Responses’ to the history making happy news on and of Lord Tariq Ahmad make special readings into the seen and unseen, visible and unvisible, countless blessings of God Almighty, which are being experienced since 1889,when the ‘Jama’at-e-Ahmadiyya'(Ahmadiyya Community) was founded, whose membership has, now, grown into more than ten Million strong ‘Ahmadi Muslims’community, in more than 200 countries, by the grace of God.
And something more about the family of Lord Tariq, his eldest uncle, named Ch. Abdus Salam was Principal of an Ahmadiyya School in District Sialkot. He was also a dedicated poet and popular with ‘Moshaira’ audience. And about other uncles of Lord Tariq, yes, the first one to migrate to UK was Mr. Munawar Ahmad Namie,, who went straight to Glasgow in mid-fifties and still resides there with his expanded families of grand children. I can recall Mr Namie was a class-fellow friend of my father, who would always enjoy pleasant get-to-gether, when Jalsa Salana was regularly held in Rabwah,( which since 1984 is being held in London) where these two friends of yore met in 2007 in Glasgow to tell and inform each other about the blessings of God on their two families of ‘Sahabis’,of Hazrat-e-Aqdus Masih-e-Maud, AlaihisSalam, named Hazrat Ch. Ali Muhammad, B.A.,B.T. and Hazrat ‘Khan Sahib’ Maulvi Farzand Ali, Ex-Imam London Mosque,(from 1928 to 1934). Surely, members of these fortunate families and the souls of the Companion (Sahabi) of Hazrat-e-Aqdus, must be feeling elated and very happily relieved at the honor their great grand son, Lord Tariq Ahmad of Wimbledon is being continuously showered with the blessings of Allah.Alhamdolillah.
May God Almighty create in His blessed Ahmadiyya Commnuity, many more lords Tariq and outstanding men like Nobel prized Physicists Dr. Salam. Ameen,YaRabbulalameen, Ameen..
May Allah talla bless this almighty and graceful community called the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association against evil and perpetrators otherwise known as the “baddies” none other than the false spreading and foul mouthed mullahs. May Allah shower this community with his blanket of blessings. I am a sunni and I am absolutely disgusted by our so called actions of Mullahs as are many of my Sunni and Ahmadi friends. Shame on them.
