From Asian Human Rights Commission: Ms Afshan Malik was a student in the Government Degree College for Women, Gulshane Ravi, Lahore. Ms. Malik participated in the Natiya(poems in the honour of the Holy Prophet PBUH) competition in the Punjab Youth Festival. The Chief Minister of the Punjab, who was present at the event liked her recital so much that he asked to recite another Naat while the results was being compiled. She did so and was loudly applauded by the audience. She was awarded the first prize and a trophy.
After a few days her rivals came to that the two Naats she recited were written by the Ahmadi elders and started to harass her in the college. They tried even get a police case registered against her and when the situation became serious she had to discontinue her studies. Later, for their safety the entire family had to shift their residence.
Once again the question begs to be asked: where is the religious freedom that Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar spoke of in her address to the United Nations at the Universal Periodic Review? Now that Pakistan has been reelected to the Human Rights Council this must be the time for the government of President Asif Ali Zardari to live up, not only to the pledges it made to the UN four years ago but more importantly, to the wording in the country’s Constitution which guarantees freedom of religion for all.

Unfortunately, in my heart I knew something like this would happen, it was too good to be true, an ahmadi girl being applauded for a “naat” that too by an ahmadi poet!!
The country has gone downhill in the last few years.
I remember reciting naat from Durresameen in school, then my daughter reciting naat & salaam from our poets in school and everyone appreciating it, knowing the facts too!

It is highly shameful act on the part of rival, jealous defeated reciters(competitors) in the Natiya Competition held during the Punjab Youth Festival. One hopes (against hope) that better sense will prevail over the organizers and also the rulers of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will perform their primary duty to ensure safety and security of every pakistani without reference to his color, creed or religion or sect. The Chief Minister of Punjab must ensure that the girl student winning the first position is not harassed by the defeated rivals.

The day I read this news that an Ahmadi girl has won the first prize for reciting a Naat in youth festival I was also afraid as my other brothers and sisters have mentioned but then the quetion is why don`t we Ahmadis do not realise the situation and the mentality of the Pakistani society. Please stay away from their social activities. We Ahmadis have enough forums to show our talents. May God almighty help this family. What the hell is chief Minister doing now who asked the Ahmadi “Malala” to recite the Naat second time for him.

Ahmadi girl should not have recited naat in the festival. This country is in the firm grip of the Abu jahils and shaitans. They are, I’m sure going to meet their horrible fate very soon. It is only matter of time before God’ wrath is going to get hold of these sub humans, because they have crossed all limits.

This is highhandedness of the maulvis. The population is silent spectator, will also suffer. Most of the population is brainwashed.
What they are doing is illegal. Destroying the headstones in grave yards and harassing people for reciting kaimah or na’at. It is all happening because there is no government.
Shahbaz Sharif should have taken notice. If a person whom he gave first prize was being punished, Shahbaz should have intervened.
There is no justification for the Mullas or the few public to take matters in their own hands. They cannot enter graveyards without an order from the courts.

The young girl who recited na’at did not say she was Muslimah. There is no law against reciting anything.
The government and the justice department should take care of such lawless activity. ML(N) and its supporting members (ministers) should know that their league is not the original Muslim league that made Pakistan. Whether their opponents will succeed or not, ML(N) will not succeed. They better remove the word “Muslim” from their party name.

We Ahmadi Muslims are the only ones declared non muslims by 72 other sects in Islam. According to the Ahadith this was meant to happen, 72 against 1. And the 1 stands out to be the real sect of ISLAM and that is Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jammat represent the same Islam our beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad(saw) taught to the people of the world. Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat is the only one on the footsteps of The Holy Prophet(saw) and his companions. InshAllah the final victory is of Islam Ahmadiyyat with love, peace, and prayers.

Every Ahmadi is a true Muslim. We do not need a certificate of a Muslim from any person.
Ahmadis believe in all articles of faith and pillars of Islam. According to the Hadith of The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)he said that whosoever calls a Muslim, a Kafir, then that person himself/herself becomes a KAFIR.
So we already know who is a kafir here. Any person calling Ahmadi Muslim as kafirs, themselves become a KAFIR.
