AMRITSAR: With intentions of creating rift between Sikhs and Ahmadiyya Muslims, a person using fake ID on Facebook has attempted to defile Guru Nanak Dev and other Sikh Gurus. Spokesperson and secretary for geneal affairs, Sadar Anjuman Ahmadiyya, Mohammad Naseem Khan told TOI on Monday that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community had taken serious note on the incriminating matter that surfaced on a social website Facebook on October 6.
“A person with fake ID has tried to besmirch Guru Nanak Dev along with other Gurus with an ulterior motive to malign, drag and implicate Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamat into a very embarrassing and inconvenient position” he said. Member Ahmadiyya Press Committee Chaudhary Maqbool Ahmad informed that on Facebook account the person using a fake ID had put photographs of Guru Nanak Dev, other Sikh gurus and founder of Jamat founder Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad and have given objectionable remarks.
He apprehended that the whole operation could be Pakistan based where Ahmadiyya’s had been declared non-Mulsims and were subjected to persecution. Khan said one Tahir Ahmad, with a fictitious name and fake identity had tried to denigrate the Sikh gurus and manipulating the names of Ahmadiyya Muslims in order to sow seeds of discord between two communities. While condemning the mechination against Ahmadiyya sect, Khan said that a delegation of Jamat along with Baba Sukhdev Singh Bedi, Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, MLA, Fatehgar Churian, , Hakim Swaran Singh former President, Nagar Council , Qadian Chaudhary Abdul Wassy , Maulana Tanvir Ahmad Khadim met Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala demanding strict action against the culprits.

We are thankful to Allah(swt) that he bestowed us Hazrat Baba Guru Nanak(r.a.) and Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmed(a.s.) as our saviors when world needed it most. There is no doubt that Hazrat Baba Guru Nanak(r.a.) was a dear one of God and led a life of righteousness. One of my fond memories with Delhi is the scene of Gurudwara located in Old delhi, where i saw during harsh summer when temperature is above 40 degrees and Sikh devotees distributing mix of cold milk and rose water as refreshment to passerby. May Allah(swt) protect the honor of our beloved Hazrat Baba Guru Nanak(r.a.) and this selfless serving attitude of our belove sikh brethren. Inshallah! Summa aameen ya Rabbul alameen!
On a different note:
I am sure cyber police of India is quite strong to findout IP adress and locate the internet user who uploaded such pictures/content. Or for that matter cyber police of Punjab is strong enough too. As a member of Ahmadiyya Muslim community from India, i want speedy identification and bringing the culprits to justice.
I recall with gratitude the hospitality by our Sikh brothers/sisters when I came to Jalsa in Qadian. I was hosted by the Deputy Mayor of Qadian. His hospitality was supreme (as were his wife’s ‘prathas’). My sincere sympathy if he was hurt by this silly posting. I am sure that he will also quickly understand that this was an act by our mutual enemies. May Allah assist us to come back to our mutual feeling of trust and understanding. And thanks again for the wonderful hospitality! May Allah reward you greatly.

You are doing great job. Allah will reward you inshallah.
