ghanaweb.com: The Washington, D.C chapter of Real Amass Alumni Association, USA, Inc. has delivered $2,500 worth of athletic wear and equipments to their Alma Mater, T. I. Ahmadiyya Secondary School, in Kumasi.

The Association under the able leadership of the Executives is committed to giving back to their Alma Mater. This donation is a result of membership dues from the few registered old students in the Washington D.C metropolitan area. We are also calling on all old students to visit the alumni website http://realamassalumni.org/aboutus.html to make contributions for a drive to equip the schoool library with PCs.
The purpose of the Alumni organization is to increase the popularity of our common interests. We hope to add new members so we will be able to grow and expand. In addition, we want to fellowship with other alumni who are committed to working on projects that support the interest of T. I. Ahmadiyya Secondary School. More importantly, by developing new relationships and renewing old friendships, the Old Students’ organization will then consist of a unified body that will be stronger and more effective in promoting the ideals of AMASS.

A very good worth-emulating gesture to serve the Alma mater by offering the required articles and cash donations by old students of the T.I.Ahmadiyya Secondary School, Kumasi, Ghana, which will, surely help improve the learning-teaching facilities for the new entrants in need to be equipped with the required paraphernalia so that they are able to face successfully the new tests and challenges at different levels of ones life at personal, national and international levels of competitions which practically means in the realm of science and technology, the latest knowledge on which lies our survival in future.
Appreciating the noble gesture of the old students of Kumasi Ahmadiyya school, assembled together in Washington, DC.,and decided to pay back ‘something’to their Alma Mater. It is really a very good gesture as said by Mr. Kamran. Here let it be known to your keen readers that ‘T.I.’ stands for Talim-ul-Islam, and the first Talim-ul-Islam School and the college, too, were initially established/started during the first decade of the 20th century, by Hazrat-e-Aqdus Masihe Maud,(peace be upon him). The basic idea of establishing these T.I.Ahmadiyya schools/colleges was to provide, simultaneously the fundamental knowledge of both kinds, called, “Ilm-ul-abdan” and “Ilm-ul-adyan”,( knowledge of both,(physical) body and the religion of Islam, spiritual) Alhamdolillah, this scheme of modern educational system initiated in Qadian by the Holy Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community(1889)was, later on expanded and extended not only in India and Pakistan, but also in other parts of different Continents of the Globe. One can say with heart-felt satisfaction that most of the office bearers of the local organisations of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in more than two hundred countries are the ones who got and had completed their education in Talim-ul-Islam School/College of Qadian and Rabwah and T.I.C had the good fortune in having Hazrat Sahibzada Hafiz Mirza Nasir Ahmad,(M.A.Oxford,UK.)as the Principal, for 21 long years, from 1944 to 1965. As such you will find old students of TIC in every country actively engaging themselves in self-less service of mankind without making any differentiation on the basis of color or creed. All these practical aspects of Islam-e-Ahmadiyyat, under the all-comprehensive spiritual guidance of Khalifa-tul-Masih,which is leading whole mankind on the path of transforming it into one unified people of “Ummat-e-Wahida.” Alhamdolillah.
