Cat is out of the bag. After a life time of idealizing and making an idol out of Sir Charles Darwin, Prof. Richard Dawkins has a Freudian slip that any fool could have been a Darwin. Here is a clip Darwin versus Einstein:
Additionally, Dawkins seems to be ignorant of history of science. Al-Jāḥiẓ (in Arabic الجاحظ) (real name Abu Uthman Amr ibn Bahr al-Kinani al-Fuqaimi al-Basri) (born in Basra, 781 – December 868/January 869) was an Arabic prose writer and author of works of literature, Mu’tazili theology, and politico-religious polemics. In biology, Al-Jahiz introduced the concept of food chains and also proposed a scheme of animal evolution that entailed natural selection, environmental determinism and possibly the inheritance of acquired characteristics. Dawkins does not concede that the idea of evolution had been expressed in the previous centuries, by Muslims, but, that can perhaps be ignored as ignorance of Muslim Heritage is far too common, in the Western media, to make a pressing issue out of this.
In this clip, it seems that he is now making an idol of Einstein. I do not have to hasten the fall of his next idol, but, just would like to state that human mind has an inherent and intuitive appreciation of the Creator God and in time of need even a Personal God, who he or she can pray to, when plane hits turbulence. Today, I only want to suggest that all efforts to raise science itself or any scientist to the pedestal of Divine, collapse sooner or later! Only the Transcendent God of Unitarian Abrahamic faiths, who is beyond time space and matter, can mesmerize human mind into awe by demonstration of His creativity in nature and His providence in our planetary history, both geologic and more recent.
