Jordan: ‘Syrians to receive free medical care; Libyans to be treated outside Amman’

Jordan Times:

MAFRAQ — Minister of Health Abdul Latif Wreikat on Monday said the ministry will offer free medical care to Syrian refugees in Jordan, provided that they obtain registration documents from the UNHCR.

During a field visit to medical care centres in the Sarhan and Housha districts in Mafraq Governorate, Wreikat noted that the ministry has decided to treat the more than 20,000 Libyan patients who are receiving medical care at health facilities in Amman at public hospitals in the northern, central and southern regions.

Note by the editor: Jordan deserves the greatest respect and compliments for its assistance to Libyans and Syrians during these difficult times. May Allah reward all those concerned greatly!
