President Ernest Bai Koroma has commended the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at in Sierra Leone for contributing towards national development in the areas of Education, Health, and Energy.
Declaring the 50th Annual Conference of Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission opened, in February this year, President Koroma said that every Sierra Leonean should appreciate the great efforts of the Ahmadiyya Mission in the country.
The President noted that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was working in line with the Governments agenda for change.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Sierra Leone was established in 1937 and has now built over 537 Mosques, 235 Schools and 3 Hospitals. The community was also the first to translate the Holy Qur’an into local Mende Language.
