Warsaw to host world’s biggest panda bear

A giant panda will be formed by 1,600 people dressed in white and black T-shirts bearing WWF logo at the Sluzewiec horse racetrack in Warsaw, July 23, as part of a campaign organized by the World Wildlife Fund – a global organization involved in conservation of wildlife and endangered species.

1,600 people symbolizes 1,600 pandas living at large. Panda is also a symbol of the WWF. 2011 marks a double jubilee of the organization which has been active for 50 years worldwide and for 10 years in Poland.
