Obama in violation of War Powers Act
U.S. Sens. John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Dick Durbin and the other Democrats are trying to give cover to President Barack Obama for using our military in Libya. This is a violation of our Constitution and the War Powers Act.
The resolution was adopted in the form of a Congressional Joint Resolution in 1973.
The president can send American troops into action abroad only by authorization of Congress or in case of “a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces.”
