I do not think Julia Gillard said any such thing. She is too gutless unfortunately and is amazingly handing out money to muslim societies to whitewash their extraordinarily violent religion/ideology to Australians.
All these comments about Islam being a religion of peace is blatant nonsense and proves that most of the commentators have never actually read the Qur’an (or are practicing taqiyya – lying to protect the good name of Islam as the Qur’an instructs them to do). Not that it can actually be read as it has no continuity of message, (except unrelenting hatred for everyone including muslims) no chronological order and very little to offer except laughable attempts to take over Christain and Jewish scriptures and mold them into something that is supposed to prove Muhammad was actually something other than a scam artist.
Hundreds of verses deal with the Lord’s, Al Hasrah’s or Allah’s,(Muhammad had a hard time settling on a name for his God. He finally settled on the name of one of the rock Gods that made up the pagan Kabaa at Mecca that men had been worshiping at for centuries before Muhammad wrested it from it’s current owners.) preoccupation with describing ad nauseum the hellfires which most of his followers were going to spend eternity in with Allah personally overseeing their torment. It’s all in the Qur’an if anybody ever bothered to read it. It is such a mess of gibberish that when it was finally collected together and written down two hundred years after the fact, the Haddith and the Sunnah had to be written to try and make some slight sense of it.
Islam is a religion of hatred, and unrelenting rage. There is no love, forgiveness or beauty in its God. Over and over, verse after verse it preaches death to any infidel who refuses to embrace Islam, or become a second class citizen paying the jizya (tax on infidels). In fact death or mutilation seems to be the response to almost anything and if you made it through your earthly phase there was always the hellfires awaiting (39 times hotter than normal fire I might add!)because the fate of muslims are predestined at conception so it matters not how good a muslim you may have been. However heaven is another matter and if you are lucky enough to have killed enough infidels over the years as the Qur’an exhorts over and over then you are are a martyr for Islam and welcomed to an eternity of gluttony, streams of wines and a never ending succession of willing virgins.
Don’t make me laugh with this ridiculous “religion of peace” which I hear being continually espoused. Islam has one goal and it is being pursued relentlessly in every country in the World and that is a worldwide Islamic caliphate. It will probably succeed because the western worlds preoccupation with political correctness is something being used to further their cause at an alarming rate. And when that happens then they’ll all turn on each other as they have done for fourteen hundred years and life and freedom as we know it will be gone forever.
I don’t understand those Muslims from Australia who wants Sharia law. They can live according to Sharia in Australia and in any other country, because Sharia is a reference point in the life of Muslims not a corpus to be imposed on the life of a pluralistic society with different cultural backgrounds. Also, in my opinion, many secular laws from Australia or western countries are more Islamic in their essence than some so called Islamic laws from some so called Islamic countries (like Pakistan), so there is a false false incompatibility between islamic-secular law.

and around 5% of total population were muslims…
Hindus were 93 percent and rest of them were 2 percents..
Now in 2013..they are 17 percent ..hindus are 80+ percent….

India gained independence by virtue of the hard work of all Indians, irrespective of their creed, culture of religion. And subsequent to Independence, India is not a Hindu state, but a secular state. So there is no question of the Hindus allowing muslims to live. You sound as though you are doing muslims a favour.
Again, before you start commenting on muslims are part of Pakistan or something of that sort, do note that all muslims in India are converts from those who were hindus earlier. That means to say that all the people living in India, with the very exceptional few who might have migrated (and the vast majority of those who migrated into India are Hindus)are Indians by ancestry.
To put it in another perspective, in India those who call themselves muslims are Hindus by birth and Muslims by faith.
With respect to Australia, however, I do concur with their views. Had the locals of Australia wanted adaptations in their constitution, that would have been proper. It is not proper on the part of those who seek asylum in the country and then want the country to adapt to their requirements, rather than being thankful and adapting themselves.

I’m an Indian living in Germany, and wherever I am ‘I would respect the local laws and traditions’. Terrorists have no religion; nor are they from any specific religious faction. It is how you color them.
There have been more muslims killed in the Godhra issue then there have ever been hindus killed in India by any religious minority; same is the case against sikhs in Delhi. But then, these are not “terrorists”. You may recollect news items about many bombing activities unearthed in different parts of India where the perpetrators / culprits were found to be Hindus.
USA killed muslims in millions in Iraq and Afghanistan, but then again they are not “terrorists”.
Any act of terror is termed terrorism only when “muslims” are behind it.
The problem is not with Islam; but with those who want to perceive Islam as something to be feared of.

Hoax or not, I agree with her. The only part that I do not agree is the part where she suggests that Muslims should be secretly monitored. That is racism and bigotry pure and simple. I think everyone needs to respect and love each other. Too long has there been war in the name of religion. It’s not what God wants. He wants us to love one another. Sadly, a few bad apples have scared people into thinking that terrorists are who represents Islam so everyone gets painted with the same brush. Get rid of terrorists and there can be healing and mutual understanding.

We don’t need you in our country, we only let you in so you could have a better life then what u where living, if your life was so great under Islam why did you come here? Explain that to me. You can’t dominate the world. We won’t allow it. I won’t live under your ways. I will fight it if I have to. I like my country the way it is and I won’t allow it to change. Our politicians need to get there head out of there ass and protect there own people and stop allowing them to come in our country’s. Deport every one who doesn’t like our ways. The ones that like it are free to stay.

I don’t know much of this episode. But I’d like to ask Gulia Gillard – How would she respond when the aborigines of Australia ask for their rights? Christians conquered Australia & what about aborigines who were natives of Australia. Hope she has answers to these questions.
