Jews & Christians Launch Campaign to Counter Anti-Jihad Subway Ad

Jewish and Christian groups unveil three ad campaigns to counter the “Defeat Jihad” ad posted at some New York City subway stations.

Arutz Sheva:  Jewish and Christian groups have unveiled three separate ad campaigns to counter what they claim is hateful speech toward Muslims contained within an advertisement posted at some New York City subway stations, CNN reported.

The new ads tout religious tolerance and offer support to the Muslim community.

“Help stop bigotry against our Muslim neighbors,” reads one. “Support peace in word and deed,” reads another, according to CNN.

The campaigns are in response to the controversial “Defeat Jihad” ad that is displayed in ten of the city’s more than 400 subway stations. It reads: “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad.”

  1. Hate speach?

This is an interesting article you might want to read.

As well, how about the fact that when the Muslim goes for Friday night
Prayer at the mosque, in Arabic they declare the Jew to be like a donkey
    overladen with books?

If some preacher in any other house of worship ever said such a thing
about their prophet Muhammad, why there would be a Muslim outrage!

Islam has shown that it alone it believes has the “divine” right to insult ( for starters) all other faiths… just don’t insult theirs!

  2. Oops!
Did I forget to mention how the Qur’an 98:6 describes the Christian and Jew as the lowest of creatures ( or vilest of beasts, depending on the translation).
Now what if I said that about Muslims?
Historical context you say? But I’ve always been told that the Qur’an is timeless scripture from God for evermore. Or would you say that some of it is outdated? You can’t have it both ways unless you say that there is both? But then what kind of eternal God book would that be, and how would you decide which was which but with what you simply chose to believe? How would your belief then as regards the Qur’an be better than anyone else? Again I ask, is the Qur’an the eternal ?book of God… or not?

By the way, I would REALLY be surprised if any of you had the brass to publish my comments. I would look forward to the dialog…..but as they say, I won’t be holding my breath waiting for THAT to happen!

    • I did authorize the publication of your comment, for now. Let’s see what ‘dialog’ will start. Frankly speaking, people like you usually are not really interested in a dialog. They have their firm conviction. Therefore most likely this dialog will end like so many others: ‘For you your religion and for us ours’. But let’s give it a chance.
