LAHORE – Two female faculty member of Post-Graduate College of Nursing, Birdwood Road, are getting life threats for being “members of the Ahmadiya community”, with religious elements inside the college alleging that the two were preaching their faith inside the college, Pakistan Today learnt on Monday.
Sources said some elements inside the college were also coming with weapons to “teach a lesson” to these female teachers, while the teachers in question are seeking the government’s help.
Sources said that it was being alleged that faculty members Rubina Jabeen and Syeda Tasneem Kauser were distributing Qadiyani literature among the students and were encouraging them to convert.
According to the hardliners, “These two females are not worthy of mercy and should be punished legally or physically.” Academic activities in the college have come to a halt as a movement has started against the two female teachers.

  1. Yeah, isn’t that how it always starts in Pakistan? “Somebody” says (someone they hate, a christian, or ahmaydiah) is “preaching” or “blaspheming” and then the village mob with pitchforks and torches show up to kill the monster, huh?

Do you even realize how disgusting that is to the rest of the world? QUOTE – These two females are not worthy of mercy and should be punished legally or physically. HAHA ARE YOU kidding me? They don’t even know if it’s TRUE. They don’t want a court of law, they want to rip somebody apart because they’re animals.
Forget whether or not it’s true.

HEY, tell me please, do people in Pakistan do ANYTHING besides hate other people and sit around and plan accusations to start ‘movements’ to kill non muslim women & children like some kind of brutes? How do they have time for anything else?

I am WHOLLY disgusted in every fiber of my being, and so is any intelligent, reasonable person on EARTH.

  2. One can only say how true and honest your feelings are. Might be others can draw some thign out of it.

  3. I left a comment about this, yesterday at the site itself. These people are truly sickening and have no sense whatsoever! Jahiliyyat has returned to Pakistan, unfortunately:(

  4. The two Nursing College teachers, senior amongst the colleagues, with qualities of strong charecter and ideal in professional matters, regular, punctual, hard working and are respected by students as loving mothers. These Ahmadi lady teachers are of strong personal character and are regarded ideal profession-wise, too, and any institution they join will feel proud of them. But as every one knows

that in our society, seats of responsibility are occupied by mediocre ones and any one who shines with his performance or respected by all around, but there also exist those who feel jealousy of them and would like to send them off. And the most convenient way to send out is to make an allegation that as Ahmadi teachers, they were preaching or distributing their their literature amongst students or were trying to convert them to their religion. This is the real story behind this artificial agitation against Ahmadi staff. And one hopes that the Health Administration of Lahore will not bow before such immoral tactics of outsiders, who are bent upon destroying every institution which is serving the right cause of its existence. It is hoped that better sense will prevail and immoral elements in society will not feel encouraged, Inshallah.

  5. What a great analysis Samrren Anwar has made. Hats off to you. Truth can not be hidden.

    • ah! Multi-culturalism! ‘Hats off to you’ This sounds ‘European’, not sure whether Samrren Anwar is familiar with these words… (Samrren: anyway: it is complimentary to you!).

  6. Both womans are faculty member at PGCN Lahor. they should concentrate on teaching nursing subjects but not on the preeching of their religion. this is duty of religious scholers. as for as their punishment concerned no body should take law in his /her hands. keep the matter on court what the court of pakistan will decide as juditiory is strongly working in pakistan.

  7. Ms Tahira alas what you said proves true. For Ahmadiyya persecution facts are quite different. Concoted stories and evidences are givne and Ahmadies get punishments from the courts. Might be in other fields courts working strongly but at least not for Ahmadies.
