What about the age factor? Normally it is opined that after 60 it is dangerous to run as it can cause heart problem. What our doctors say in this regard?
I’ve also read that walking is better than running since the later is hard on the joints, while walking is not.
Btw, what is the difference between jogging and running?
I thought the answer must be on ‘google search’, but there are so many different answer out there that it is really not easy to say. With walking, fast or slow, we have always one foot on the ground, but it seems with jogging and running both feets may be ‘up’ at the same time. Therefore: do not think too much: just enjoy! whatever it may be called.
Personally my feeling would be that fast walking would be better. I always intend to start tomorrow…
And, yes, the few times that I did have the honour, pleasure and the occasion to go for a fast walk with our beloved Hadhrat Khalifat-tul-Masih IV (r.a.) I did manage to keep up, just about. We were going up the hill into the forest near my house near Zurich. But my breathing was much harder, although I am a couple of decades younger…

Very intelligent as tomorrow never comes. I aready do fast walking every day and jogging, running and walking 8 km two times a week.
With a winter snow storm outside, and the wet snow blanketing the windows, I cannot go outside for a walk or run. So I climb 14 stairs from my basement to bedroom several times a day and create excuses to climb the stairs. I think it is any exercise which makes our blood flow and oxygenate it properly, few stretches here and there which helps me to keep going. Thanks
Mirza Sahib good to hear but all depends how old you are and how strong knees you have. Any way a novel idea. It reminds me a joke. Once a Man found a Mosnter. What ever assignment Man used to task the Monster used to complete with in seconds and always demanded the next assignment. Man got fed up of his energies and fitness. One day he thought a novel idea. He called the Monster and tasked him to climb up and down the stairs of the basement. Naturally this was never ending assignment so the Man was relaxed at least for a while. Have a nice day.
