Barred: Lawyers ban drink on court complex

The Lahore Bar Association (LBA) has banned Shezan drinks from subordinate court complexes and vowed tough action against those found buying or selling Qadiani-owned products on court premises.
The decision was reached on Thursday at the LBA’s bar room in the LDA plaza following a motion by Advocate Ghulam Mustafa Chaudhry, president of Khatme Nabuwat Lawyers Forum (KNLF).
LBA president Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali told The Express Tribune said that more than 100 lawyers unanimously voted for the ban on Shezan drinks for being the product of Ahmadis. The house also vowed to ban other products at a later stage.
Zulfiqar said that the association had launched a campaign to ensure a complete ban on Shezan drinks in subordinate court canteens etc. He said that he had constituted a team to enforce this decision. He added that strict action would be taken against canteen owners found selling Shezan drinks in subordinate courts.
KNLF President Advocate Choudhary said the LBA president had directed LBA Vice President Rana Javed Bashir Khan to coordinate enforcement of the ban in sessions courts, district courts, banking court, special court, Aiwan-i-Adl, in Model Town and Cantonment courts.
Several canteen owners, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the decision would hurt Ahmadi lawyers. They said it was far from clear how such initiatives will promote the welfare of the lawyers’ community.

If Shezan juices were banned from the Headquarters of the Jamaat Islami that would be another thing, but that it should be banned from a place where the law is supposed to be upheld is another. Poor Pakistan! Poor lawyers, deprived of the best fruit juices in the country!!!
One wonders what the lawyers priorities are. Adding one more injustice to the mountain of injustices in Pakistan.
Person behind the ban (Mr Zulfiqar) seems to be candidate of PTI, a party dreaming to sweep the forthcoming elections. So Ahamdies bussinessmen in Pakistan should start pulling up their socks.
It may be that filthy people only deserve to eat and drink filthy things. So why be surprised that these lawyers deprived themselves of such pure and delicious products?

The people in LBA behind this embargo have joined the tarnished group of Mullahs who try to grab material motives by virtue of selling such fatwas, Shame on LBA for this low business of Fascism.

Custodians of justice have further tarnished their reputation.
Now I know that fruits/juices also has a religion,I am here is USA somebody may please send me that details so that I send it to US manufacturers. Then they will give names to their Products as Muslim Juice,Christain Juice,Jewis Juice,Buddist Juice,confucious Juice,Atheiest Juice and Hindu Juice. After drinking the Juice they will have some effect of that religion. I will Introduce a Juice of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and then the people will be really Impressed after drinking that juice and will say Pakistan Zinda Bad and our Head will be raised with pride. Every American will say Lok at that Islami Juzba,how is that?, then Islam will have victory in US.

But what makes me worry is not Shezan or only Ahmadies, what I am really concerned for is for the poor fateful heedless Nation that is Pakistani now a days. How low the can be and how much wrath of Allah they can invite and bear.
