Muslim youth group that promotes peace and condemns terrorism will stop in Brockville on Saturday to present a tribute to Mother Mary for an Islamic Perspective. Rizwan Rabbani told the Recorder and Times on Monday that Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association of Canada will visit the Brockville Public Library from 12pm to 4pm as a part of a nationawide campaign to dispel myths about Islam.

Saturdays open house is intended to promote religious harmony and help to overcome misconceptions about Islam, while also speaking about the status Muslims give to the women in general.

The youth association is a wing of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (www.ailsam.org) a non-profit religious organization in over 200 countries with 65 chapters in Canada.

Last year the youth association visited 238 communities in Canada including Brockville to discuss the Holy Qur’an.
