Ahmadi Muslim first ever elected to Hamburg State Assembly

He has God given instinct and  potential for the politics. Few years back, under this instinct, he wanted to lead Pakistan Political Party Muslim League Germany Overseas Wing. However his attention was drawn to anti Ahmadiyya stance of PML and was advised to try his luck in German Politics. He took the advice seriously, Worked very hard to make his future in German politics.

For routine lively hood, he was in the business of flowers selling. Since birth he is a hard worker and became a very successful businessman. For some years his name topped the list of those offering voluntary donations to Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Germany.

After having studied manifest of various political parties he decided to join German Social Democrats. From 2008 he became very active in the political affairs of his party. I remember local press used to chase him and many  a times his honest and devoted community development work was highlighted from the platform of Social Democrats.  During his work at district level he remained a role model to utilise the public funds with utmost honesty and to the full benefit of society.

In current elections of Hamburg State Parliament he secured 37,000 personal votes on the ticket issued by Social Democrats. This number  itself is astonishing especially for a person of foreign origin.  With this huge majority and land slide victory he is now first Ahmadi Muslim ever elected to any German State Assembly.

We all congratulate him  on this tremendous success and pray for his bright and promising future.
