Everyone who believes in one Creator-God, Quran and all the Prophets are supposed to be Muslims, just like followers of other Prophets, who came before Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) were also Muslims.
I am not an Ahamadi Muslims, but I believe that Ahamadis also meet the definition of being a Muslim. The Question is moot.
Most of the prevailing religions under the title of “Islam” are sectarian and sub-sectarian religions.
The debate should not be whether Ahmadiyyas are “part of Islam”, the debate should be whether Sunni sects and Shia sects and every sect that use the label “Islam” are really part of the Islam or not? And if yes, then what is the role of hyphenated labels
Din’t Allah SWT say in Quran:“Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects – you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah; then He will inform them about what they used to do.” Surah Al-Anaam 6:159
The debate should be why Muslims be calling themselves as Shias, Ahle-Hadis, Agha Khani and Ahmadi, when the word Muslim be sufficient?
What is so unique about these sectarian religions that is soimportant than the basic definition of a Muslim provided by Allah SWT in Quran?
Why the scholars are hung up on the differences in the belief systems of their sects, rather than be focusing on the criterion defined by Quran, unless the differences in interpretations are more important than how Allah SWT defines in Quran?
Is it not true that all the fitness that infest the Muslim world originate, not from what unites all Muslims, but from what divides Muslims based on the man-manufactured interpretations?
Don’t Muslims have more crucial issues to focus than spending energies who is Muslim and who is not?

Yes, Shia is Islam
Yes, Christian is islam,
yes, Jews is Islam.
but Christian and Jews are not Prophet Muhammad (saw)’s follower.
Based on Al Quran,WHO IS MUSLIM OR ISLAM?
Allah and prophet Muhammad said in Al Quran;
Surely, those who say, “Our Lord is God” and then stay firm, they will have no fear, nor shall they grieve. (13) Those are the people of Paradise, who will live there for ever as a reward for what they used to do. QS 46:13-14
Everyone who believes in one Creator-God,is Islam or Muslim.
IBRAHAA’S OFFSPRING ARE ISLAM
And this was the Legacy that Ibrahim left to his sons, and so did Ya’qub; “O my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the state of submission (to Allah).QS 2;132
Verily, this Brotherhood of yours is a single Brotherhood, and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore serve Me (and no other). QS 21;92
CHRISTIAN AND JEWS ARE ISLAM
He (Allah) named you as Muslims earlier ( Taurat and Injil) and also in this (Qur’an), so that the Messenger becomes a witness to you, and you become witnesses to (other) people. 16 So establish Salah, pay Zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your patron or protector . So, how excellent He is as a patron, and how excellent as a supporter! QS 22;78.
Based on above verses, I strongly believe that Ahmadiyah, Shia, Christian, and Jews are Islam or Muslim.
Prophet Muhammad(saw) was the first Muslim who believe in Al Quran. as Allah said,
The Prophet Muhammad is told to say: “wa ana awwal-ul-muslimeen” — “I am the first of the Muslims” (6:163).
It dose not mean that Christian and Jews are not Islam.
Those who accuse Christian and Jews are not Islam based on hatred.
Those who accuse Shia, Ahmadiyah, Sufi etc are not Islam based on hatred.

But the most evaded questions still remain unanswered:
Why do the followers of Quran and Prophet Mohammad keep insisting their affiliation to Sunni or Shia sects and other sub-sects to be NOT Haram, when Allah SWT has very clearly declared such hyphenated-affiliations of Muslims as totally unacceptable to the point that Allah SWT told Prophet that he does not belong to these sects (Surah Al-Anaam 6:159) ?
Assuming that the term “Islam-based” means only beliefs and values based on Quranic principles (which I believe would be accurate), isn’t it true that promoting sectarianism is NOT “Islam-based”?
Isn’t it true that sectarianism is the cause of all kinds of FITNAH one sees in the entire Muslim world?
Can FITNAH be “Islam-based”?
Isn’t it true that anything that has even the least potential to cause fitnah can never be “Islam based”?
What cogent reason follower of a sect or a sub-sect can provide, which Quran did not mention that necessitates the need to add a hyphen to the word “Muslim’ to differentiate from other hyphenated Muslim?
Was Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) a Deobandi, Salafi, Bori, Agha Khani, Hanafi, Ahmadhi or Bori?

Surely, those who have made divisions in their religion and turned into factions, you have nothing to do with them. Their case rests with Allah alone; then He will tell them what they have been doing. QS 6;(159)
Verily your Lord knows best who has strayed from his way, and He is well aware of those who are on the right path. QS 6:(7)
What does it mean ?
Prophet was told that after your died, Muslim will made division according to his interpretation of revelation or the words of God.
The split in Islam is one thing that can not be avoided.(dodgery ).
And then God remained prophet.
, He would have made you a single people, but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute. QS 5;(48).
It means, we have to accept the different idea, thought, interpretation of Islam, races, and gender. On other words, we have to tolerate what ever differences.
Then Allah commanded; Do judge others.
“And insult not those whom they worship besides God, lest they insult God wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We have made fair-seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall then inform them of all that they used to do QS 6;108
As Allah said in His Books; Taurat, Injil and Al Quran;
Allah said. The believers are nothing else than brothers . So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allâh, that you may receive mercy. O you who believe! Let not a group scoff at another group, it may be that the latter are better than the former; QS 49;10
Do not accuse anyone falsely (exodus.20;16).
Why do judge your brother? Why do you show contempt for your brother?
For we shall all stand before God’s judgment Therefore let us not judge one another any more. Each of us shall account of himself. All of us will stand before God to be judged by Him.(Roman 14:10-11)
God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor? James 4:12
If all Muslim’s sects can accept the differences and respect ,love each other, I strongly believe Muslim can prove that Islam is really peaceful religion and mercy for all mankind.
Otherwise, If Muslim still believe in idols like Scholar Muslim and Bukhari or believe in the book of Hadits as second Holy book beside Holy Al Quran, there is no peace in our Muslim community.
We have to dare to abrogate the violent Hadist Muslim and Bukhari and Ancient Arab tradition Hadits.
May God give all Muslim Scholars daring to abrogate all violent Hadits.

I agree with the above comment. The only reason to hyphenate your sect in Islam is the selfish motives of these leaders to establish their own power base. God says in the Quran that he has named the followers of the religion of Islam as “Muslims”. The sects are the result of divisions based on power struggle. There is no religious basis for these divisions. Power and money corrupts. In religious arena this manifests itself as creation of sects. It is true of all religions, Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Just follow the money and see how the religious leaders are drowning in money. It is the best business in the world!!
