Ladies from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association visit Norwood Care Home

Women Members of a Keighley’s  Ahmadiyya Muslim community visited a care home and chatted with residents of Norwood House in Greenthwaite Close.

Jennifer Smouse, the manager of Norwood House, said the ladies took along gifts and sweets for the residents just before Christmas.

She said: “It was a very good gesture and shows all communities can live in peace and harmony respecting each other.

“Our residents were very pleased to see them and exchanged Christmas and New Year greetings.”

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, which has a mosque in Long Croft, Keighley, follows the motto of “love for all, hatred for none”.

  1. Let us remember that ‘away from the spotlight’ we should visit the lonely old people among our community and our neighbors also from time to time … (when the left hand does not need to know what the right hand does…)
