PARIS: France on Thursday condemned the hanging of a Pakistani soldier convicted of murder and called for the country to renew its moratorium on executions and work towards abolishing the death penalty.

“This decision constitutes a step backwards in Pakistan’s move towards greater respect for human rights,” foreign ministry spokesman Philippe Lalliot told reporters.

  1. So will many other Western States, exactly as foretold in the Holy Quran: they will not rest till they turn you from your religion.
This logic makes absolutely no sense, that the murdered individual and the family suffer while the murderers just go to jail.
Unfair, in-human and senseless to say the least.
