  4. I received this very sad and sorrow news from Ghana, that Hafiz Jibreel Sahib has passed away. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajeoon.
Though Hafiz sahib has lived a relatively shorter life, but have made great sacrifices in his life. His life is full of sacrifices.

He came to Rabwah at a very young age, where he missed his parents, relatives and friends. He missed his culture, his language, his foods, and etc. In Rabwah he could not communicate with his age-mates. At times, the peoples who would communicate with him could not sometimes understand a child’s heart and feelings. Many a times when I saw him alone, on the roads in Rabwah, I felt very sad for him. After some times he could communicate with the local age-mates, and his family was all Ahmadees in Rabwah.

Then in late 1980s & early 1990s, he was a MOBILE missionary in the South Pacific, moving between dozens of small small islands nations, such as Tuvalu, Kiribati, Vanuatu, Nauru, Niue, Tonga(s), and etc. Though he was based in Suva (Fiji), but he was always on the move. At that time, I was teaching in the University of South Pacific (USP serves 11 islands nations) at Suva, and I would hardly see him in Suva. In fact due to his visa situation, he could never stay at one place more than 3 months. Thus, once again, he was a lone “fish” in the whole South Pacific. He has NO home, no fixed center, no family. Small and medium sized boats were the only mode of traveling between these island nations which would take days and weeks, depending upon the weather. So he probably spent a lot of his times in these boats. However after some times in these islands, he established many small jamaats, and now again, his family was all these Ahmadees.

In deed, he had a true missionary spirit, and today we have lost a great missionary. I feel extremely sorry for his early demise. May Almighty Allah shower His bounties upon him, and enable his family to bear this great loss. Amen.

  9. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajioon. Hafiz Ahmad Jibreel Saeed has been my counselor and spiritual inspirer. As soon as you hear him speak, you become humbled. He was affable, approachable and sincere. His unique way of reciting the Holy Qur’an almost sent one in tears. His approach of explaining difficult religious issues always stabilized confused hearts and minds. His commitment and devotion to the cause of Tabligh, as far as I know, is unparallelled. The tabligh he was doing in the northern part of Ghana was immeasurable. In fact, words cannot express all that I know about Hafiz Sahib.
My humble prayer is that Allah Almighty grants him a lofty place in paradise and also help the wife and children go through this trying moment with fortitude. Amin.
May He also replace him with many of his kinds to help the cause of Islam Ahmadiyyat. Amin.

  16. انا لله وانا اليه راجعون. To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return. I first got to have personal contact with Hafiz Ahmad Jubreel Saeed Sahib when he visited Nigeria Many years back on Jama’at official assignments and had to have individual interview with some Missionaries. Hafiz Sahib had a friendly approach with everybody he met. Easy going he was. ever smiling was his face. Hadhrat Khalifatul V, Hafiz Sahib’s family, Amir Sahib Ghana, members of Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana, members of Ahmadiyya Community in the Pacific Islands and all members of the Jama’at world wide should kindly accept my condolence message. May Allah bless Hafiz Sahib the best place in Paradise. May Allah bless the Jama’at many sincere servants like him. Ameen Thumma aameen.

  17. Sad indeed it is to learn of the passing away of Hafiz Jibreel sahib, inna lillaahi wa inna layhi raajioon. A star of Ahmadiyyat, Hafiz sahib had that uncanny drive and the zeal to persevere with his tabligh efforts in often difficult and trying situations. Preaching in the remote and isolated islands of the Pacific was not an easy task for him. His young family also sacrificed and endured with him. Children often suffering from lack of vitamin C’s as fresh fruits were not readily available in those remote parts. Life became bearable intermittently, as he passed through Fiji for a few months at a time.
His Qur’an recitation in his sweet African voice was tantalizing. I was honoured to have him record some portions of Qur’an which was a great help for my children as they grew up. Sometimes, we do not realize the gem within us, until they are no more! May Allah grant him the promised bliss of the heaven and may He make it easy for his lovely family. Amen.

  19. The above comment shows the mind set of the opponents of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and the Mullahs. They do not want to leave the final judgment to God, for the Hereafter, as that requires a little humility, decency and flexibility of thought. They like to condemn everyone who differs with them right now and right here.

  20. I read a book about the South Pacific. In one paragraph it was mentioned ‘that you will come across the Ahmadiyya Muslim Missionary from Ghana, Maulana Hafiz Jibreel Saeed. He is always looking for a tennis partner, therefore, if you play tennis, please do not fail to meet him. (another aspect of his life).

  21. I was in Daboase, Ghana W/R as a Missionary doctor from 1994 to 2000 and meet him a lot of time. He came to visit us in Daboase a few occasion too. He was a very good person and always in spirit of inviting people to Islam Ahamadiyya. A sad demise at a very early age., May Allah SWT give him highest place in Jannah.
