The anti Ahmadiyya hate campaign has claimed another life on this Muslim holy day, Friday, in the city of Karachi in Sindh province of Pakistan.

According to a report released by the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Pakistan, an Ahmadi man of Baldia Town area of Karachi was killed and his father, brother, and father-in-law were critically injured when they were attacked while returning home after Friday prayer services.

The group was travelling in a family caravan that was targeted by unknown assailants.

According to the external affairs’ office of the community, the victim, Saad Farooq, was riding a motorcycle and following his other family members in a car when the caravan was sprayed with gunshots fired from behind.

Saad Farooq on his motorcycle, and his father, Farooq Ahmad Kahloon, brother Amaad Farooq, and father-in-law, Chaudhary Nusrat, in the accompanying car, were all injured.

The bullet that struck Saad Farooq in his head proved fatal while the condition of the father is still critical and, according to the reports, next 24 hours are very crucial for his life.

Mr. Saad, who had gotten married less than a week ago on Saturday, October 13th, was only 26 year old.

Saad’s father, Farooq Kahloon, received four bullets in his both arms and one bullet entered his lungs. His father-in-law, Nusrat Chaudhary received three bullets in his chest and neck.

The brother, Ammad Farooq, received bruises.

The Sindh province has seen a string of Ahmadi killings recently and, according to the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, Saad Farooq is the seventh Ahmadi to lose his life in a span of few months, “as a result of an organised and well-orchestrated campaign.”

The anti-Ahmadiyya campaign in Pakistan’s includes extensive hate filled wall-chalkings and hateful printed materials posted in public places.

“We have to understand that a new family has been destroyed as Saad Farooq was starting his new married life,” said Saleem ud Din, the Ahmadiyya spokesperson in Pakistan. “…the hate campaign against Ahmadis in Pakistan is unprecedented in recent history and this is a waste of young man aged 26 who lost his life because of his faith.”

“Ahmadis are increasingly cornered and silenced but hate mongers are given a free hand to publish and print whatever they want.”

As previously reported in the media, an Ahmadi, Muhammad Nawaz, was murdered in similar fashion on 12th September; and another Ahmadi, Abdul Ghaffar, was shot dead on 7th September. Also, an Ahmadi, Naveed Ahmad was also shot dead in Karachi in last few months.

  9. Inaa lillahi wa inna ilahi rajioon.
When will the help of ALLAH come to stop these criminals? It is a pure criminality and the government of Pakistan looks unconcerned while some of its citizens are brutally murdered.
May Allah have mercy on the victims, and those responding to treatments, may He heal them if it will be good for their continuous stay on earth.
May He also strengthen the Ahmadi minorities who are at the receiving end. Amin.

  10. Killing of Ahmadies has now become routine in Pakistan. Ahmadiyya life seems to be cheaper than any other commodity. Man killed was just married. What horrible plight the spouse will suffer is unthinkable. Tolerance for each other has almost vanished in the society. Even societal check and balances are also missing. Mind set of each Pakistani needs an overhaul. Each segment of society has to play its role. However it looks whole nation is without any goal and a real leader. Country just existing aimlessly on this planet.

  11. Though we are saddned, yet we have a firm faith in Allah. Though our hearets bleed, yet we have a faith that each and every drop spilled will bring forth fresh fruits, God fearing people to serve the humanity at large, Inshallah.
Our prayers are with all the grieved family mmbers.

May Allah have mercy on Ahamdis and save them from these ruthless unjust barbaric people. Amen
May Allah grant comfort to the hearts of the grieving families, specially the mother and the bride of the martyred groom.Amen

I wonder what has happened to human now a days. Human race has become so wild that its thirst of blood is ever increasing by passing day. Who knows the sanctity and sacredness of the blood of human more then human itself? but Alas! human haws forgotten that life is only granted once. And that everyone will be answerable to God for killing an innocent soul. The Holy Quran says killing an innocent soul is killing the whole humanity. But these name sake Muslims why would they care what Allah says.
As for these culprits, Allah will never spare them. Insha’Allah.

  14. May Allah rest the Martyr”s soul in Paradise. I also pray Allah to give patience to the Shaheed Saad Farooq “s family and for quick recovery and good health to the injured members of the family AMEEN.

  15. Pakistan is no more a place to live on for Ahmadi Muslims unfortunately. Recently certain places in Karachi have accumulated extremists escaped from FATA i.e Taliban who enjoy full support from local extremist groups. the string of brutal murdering of innocent Ahamdi Muslims is due to collaboration among them.

  16. إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return
Let it be understood according to Chapter 2: Al-Baqarah البَقَرَة that:
    وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتٌ ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ
And say not of those who are killed in the cause of Allah that they are dead; nay, they are living; only you perceive not.

  17. It was the saddest news for the family of Saad but with the grace of Almighty Allah, they have shown real patience and will always show Inshallah. We are proud to be from his family. Allah has chosen him. He has received a great status from Allah. He has made us all very proud.

  18. I fail to find words suffice enough to express my heartfelt sad full of shocked, torchered feelings for all these innocent members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community of Pakistan, who are being constantly shot injured or killed /martyred for their ‘sin’of being members of the Jama’at of Masih-e-Muhammadi, peace be upon him, and say the holy words of God, for such occasion,InnalillaheywainnaAlaiheyrajeoon, we all belong to God and have to return to Him. Let all the Ahmadis of more than two hundred countries of the world pray for our dear brothers-in-faith, who have been killed/martyred in Pakistan or elsewhere in the world and remember them in our mid-night prayers so that God may accept their sacrifice of life and grants them the status of ‘Shahadat’ and place them at the highest point of His heavenly glorification, out of His infinite blessings. May God Almighty also give special strength to all the grieved relatives left behind to bear such unthinkable personal loss of all dear and near ones, Ameen Allahhumma Ameen.
