Another interesting exchange of dialogue about Ahmadiyyat.

Following exchange of dialogue about Ahmadiyyat is appended below for MT Readers.

Sarmad Aijaz

Dear Readers,
I dont know what is intention of this article but I am refering some of major difference between muslims and Qadinais if someone think that we should give them space of comfort so they can move freely kindly review these and comment please

1.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) is based on the belief that Mirza was an improved second reincarnation of hazrat Muhammad(SAW).

2.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) rejects the concept of absolute Finality of Prophethood in hazrat Muhammad(SAW), as confirmed in Quran, Hadith, Sunnah of the Holy Prophet(SAW), Tradition of Companions, the writings of Muslim Scholars and personalities, and concensus of the entire Ummah for almost 1500 years.

3.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) maintains that Mirza Ghulam Qadiani was a Prophet (nabi and rasul) of God.

4.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) rejects the concept of completion of the revelations of Allah(SWT) in the Holy Quran.

5.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) holds that Mirza Ghulam Qadiani’s revelations (Books) were on the same level as all prior revelations (Quran, Bible, Torah). In their view, simply following Quran and Sunnah, as Muslims have done since the beginning of Islam, is not a basis for living a righteous life and gaining the pleasure of the Creator. Interestingly, the Qadiani leadership has refused to allow a translation of these books, so that everyone may become familiar with the irrational teachings and contradictory claims of the founder of their organization.

6.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) rejects authentic Hadith based on Mirza’s alleged revelations and teaches his personal interpretation of the Holy Quran. Qadiani (Ahmadiyya) leadership has forged several unauthentic translations of the Holy Quran to try to confuse and mislead uninformed individuals.

7.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) teaches that Jesus(pbuh) had been crucified, but did not die from his injuries. Instead, it advocates the view that Jesus(pbuh) recovered from his injuries, escaped to Kashmir (India), where he lived for another 86 years, and is buried there.

8.Whereas Jesus(pbuh) is acknowledged as a great prophet of Allah in Islam, Mirza Ghulam took the liberty of making demeaning and vulgar remarks against him and his honored mother, rejected his miracles, belittled his mission and denied his return before the Day of Judgment. It is such unbecoming teachings that have resulted in hateful retributions by extremist Christians evangelical groups against Muslims, Prophet Muhammad(SAW), and Islam.

9.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) maintains that Mirza Ghulam Qadiani was “the promised Messiah”. The Qadianis (Ahmadis) reject the advent of Jesus Christ(pbuh), son of Mary, as the Messiah, just before the Day of Judgment.

10.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) teaches that Mirza Ghulam Qadiani was also the promised Mahdi (guided one).

11.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) teaches that Mirza Ghulam Qadiani was also the expected Hindu lord, Krishna.

12.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) intollerantly declares the entire manking, except for those who naively accept the irrational notions and contradictory claims of Mirza Ghulam Qadiani, to be unbelievers and bound for hell. Qadiani leadership has announced all Muslims to be unbelievers and has forbidden its followers from wedding their daughters to Muslims, praying behind Muslims, and offering prayer on their deceased – be it a child or an adult.

13.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) teaches that struggle for freedom, independence and self-determination against the tyranny, extremism and oppression (Jihad) of those military powers that support Qadianism has been made Haraam.

14.At its birth, being a protoge of the oppressive British Empire of the time, Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) required complete devotion and obedience to the British Government, as an article of faith. While freedom loving people around the globe were rising up against the British subjugation, Qadianis were being required to be willing to sacrifice their wealth, talent, and soul in the cause of the Crown. Britain is presently the headquarter of the Qadiani Movement.

15.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) holds two cities in India (Qadian) and Pakistan (Rabwah) as holy as Mekkah and Madinah. Qadianis (Ahmadiyya) are supposed to perform Hajj by attending their annual congregation, instead of visiting Mekkah.

16.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) maintains that Mirza Ghulam Qadiani was superior to all the Prophets(pbut) of Allah(SWT).

17.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) refers to the companions of Mirza Ghulam Qadiani as Sahaba and his wives as Mother of the Believers (Ummahatul Muminin).

18.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) advances the notion that many verses of the Holy Quran were revealed to Mirza Ghulam Qadiani and that many of the praises of Prophet Muhammad(SAW), mentioned in Quran, were really intended for Mirza Ghulam Qadiani.

19.Qadianism (Ahmadiyyat) claims Mirza’s Mosque at Qadian (India) to be Masjid-ul-Aqsa.

@Sarmad Aijaz:
Well done ET. When it comes to anti Ahamdiyya you enjoy all the press liberties and when replies are sent in favour of Ahamdiyya you throw it in waste basket as you have editorial and societal compulsions/fears. This is not fair. My previous additional reply to Khatme Nabuwwat Zindabad is an example which you never dared to print. This is also one of the reasons why Ahamdiyya instance is not understood by the People. Media has equal responsibility. Any way having learned lessons, effort has being made to respond in a very mild way to the points raised by Mr Sarmad.
1. It is totally baseless allegation. In case Mr Sarmad has any proof from the writings of founder of Ahamdiyya he should present and then reply will be given.
2. Ahadmiyya does present logical interpretation of Khatme Nabuwwat. Since ET will never print the view point of Ahamdiyya as such readers can refer to http://www.alislam.org under truth about khtame nabuwwat. Just to give few examples what renowned Muslim Scholars meant by it. In the government of Pakistan ‘white paper’ a noted Muslim thinker, Allama Abdur Rehman Bin Khaldun (may Allah have mercy on him) (died 808 A.H.) is mentioned. He is noted to have said“Wa Yum Saloona… Khatamatun Nabbuwat.” That is people categorize saintliness or holiness according to degrees of rank. The one who has attained the highest rank is termed ‘Khatam-Al-Auliya’. Similarly in terms of prophet hood, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) achieved the highest rank and was called ‘Khatamul-Anbiyya’. (Muqaddama by Ibne-Khaldun pg. 271-272, published in Egypt)Hazrat Abu Saeed Mubarak lbne Ali Makhrumi (died 513 A.H.) the patron saint of no less a person than Hazrat Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani (may Allah have mercy on him) says “Wal Ahkhara…..Wa Sallama Khatamun Nabbiyeen” – man holds the highest position in the Universe. When he soars high all the noble qualities in all their magnitude mentioned above find their manifestation in him and he is called The Perfect Man. Boundless, indeed, are the noblest qualities that found their perfection in our Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and that is why the highest title of “Khatamun Nabbiyeen” was conferred upon him.” (Tohfah Mursala Sharif pg. 51) Hazrat Maulana Rum (may Allah have mercy on him) (died 672 A.H.) says, “Behre Een Khatim Shud Ast…..Khatum Sanat Bar Too Ast.” The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was declared ‘Khatim’ because he excelled in munificence and in perpetuating the spiritual blessings to his followers. When a craftsman excels and achieves perfection, don’t we say that craftsmanship has come to an end with him. (Masnavi Maulana Rum ch. 6 pg. 18-19)
3. Yes Ahamdiyya claims its founder as promised Imam Mehdi, Messiah and a subordinate Ummati Nabi and has proof to support its instance.
4. It is false and baseless objection. Mr Sarmad to provide proof.
5. Baseless objection. Gradually and slowly all books are being translated. If Mr Sarmad has any proof of his claim should present.
6. Baseless objection. Proof is needed for reply.
7. Yes Ahamdiyya has such belief. Ahamdiyya proves it with 30 verses of Quran and lot many Hadith. Readers can have plenty of knowledge on the topic at http://www.alislam.org.
8. Baseless objection and proof needed to reply.
9. Yes Ahamdiyya considers its founder as the promised Imam Mahdi and Messiah. For detailed study refer http://www.alislam.org on the subject.
10. Yes it is like that and belief authenticated with proof.
11. Yes it is like that and belief authenticated with proof.
12. Baseless objection and proof is needed for reply.
13. Formulation of objection is incorrect. Ahamdiyya does interpret different kinds and true meaning of Jihad. Refer http://www.alislam.org for details. Rest contents of the objection are baseless.
14. Loyalty to government recently explained by the supreme head of Ahamdiyya Community while addressing the military headquarter in Koblenz Germany. For details refer to http://www.ahmadiyya.de and find out the meanings of loyalty to government. Temporary headquarter of community is in UK due to persecution and anti Ahmadiyya laws in Pakistan. Prior to 1984 every thing was in Pakistan. Repeal anti Ahmadiyya laws and assure freedom of religion the community headquarter will come back to Pakistan.
15. Baseless objection and need proof for reply.
16. Totally baseless and false objection and Mr Sarmad must give proof for such allegation.
17. Ahmadiyya Community does so and has sufficient proof for these concepts.
18. Baseless objection and needs proof for reply.
19. Masjid Al-Aqsa is just the name of Mosque and no claim to represent it as an alternate for any other mosque. Mr Sarmad to furnish proof.

Important Note. The biggest problem is that no newspaper in Pakistan is ready to print the view point of Ahamdiyya in its original form as such for important points reference has been made to the famous website of Ahamdiyya. However if ET can ensure printing of original reply of Ahamdiyya, all the points can be very amicably explained.

  1. The points which have been mentioned in the above discussion have been going on for the last hundred years. Briefly if a Mindset refuses to use “common sense”, logic, reason and rationality in the revelation from God, then nothing can enlighten such a blocked mind.

  2. Nothing new in these false allegation against the Ahmadyya community Had the author read about the Ahmadyya believs, he would not come up with thes allegations

  3. View expressed in above two comments are very true. However since new readers keep on coming and new generations also growing as such might be useful if learned Ahmadies in a media acceptable way keep on continuously contributing to the Express Tribune the Ahmadiyya view point.
