Millions watched Khalifatul Masih V, the Head of Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, on Muslim Television Ahmadiyya (MTA) and live streaming through internet, as he outlined the progress of the community during the year 2012, on the second day of the International Convention 2012 of Ahmadiyya Community in UK.  He thanked God for countless bounties during the year.  The convention is being attended by approximately 30,000 faithful from all the continents of the world.  The report card – dubbed by the organizers as ‘Bounties of God’ was presented by His Holiness to the gathering for almost two hours.

His Holiness advised that millions of people worldwide received Ahmadiyya message of Muslims for Peace through knocking on doors, electronic media and billboards in North America; and millions more in Europe, Australia and Africa received the message that Islam stands for loyalty to one’s homeland.

Just in Germany, 3,000,000 flyers have been distributed and a similar number has been distributed in UK, according to Rafiq Hayat, National President of Ahmadiyya Community, UK.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is now spread across 202 countries of the world with 2443 formal and permanent missions.

As some Ahmadiyya mosques are being seized and demolished in some so called Muslim countries, the community added 338 new mosques worldwide during the year which include 119 locations newly added by the community and 219 locations that came to the community due to the mass conversions in the localities where the mosques were situated.  His Holiness stated that the number of Ahmadiyya mosques in Indonesia now total 392.

His Holiness detailed the expansion of the community in just about every facet of progress, including the joining of 514,000 souls to the peaceful Ahmadiyya Islam.  There were 33000 more converts this year compared to the last year.  On the last day of the convention many of the new converts participated in pledge of allegiance, at the hands of His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad.  Millions witnessed and joined the ceremony globally through MTA and renewed their commitment to the ten conditions of Bayyat or Initiation.  Millions joined His Holiness, through out the world, live, in prayers of peace and prosperity for humanity in general and the Muslims in particular.

His Holiness noted that during the last 28 years – since 1984 when Ahmadi activities were banned in Pakistan – the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has expanded to 111 more countries.

His Holiness also outlined and appreciated the work and progress of Alislam team, running different websites of the community.

Over 2 million new books and booklets were published in 45 languages this year, His Holiness stated.

According to the records, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has already completed and published the Holy Quran translations in over 70 major languages of the world and there are currently 15 more translation in various near-completion stages.
