In the center of the alleged Civil War Among Muslims in Russia is said to be the push for the “Creation of an Islamic State -the Caliphate.”

It is believed to be based on Wahhabism.

This is the declared mission of the Khilafa Movement (Read Khalifa Magazine found on-line).

The Khilafa insists on having a land first then the Establishment of Caliphate. It is also very critical of the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam and its institution of KHILAFAT.

The followers of the movement are hardliners. They subscribe to:

1. The appropriate verse in Surah  Al-Nisa where the institution of Caliphate is mentioned.

2. That the Caliphate will be in “the style of nabuwah.”

However, they do not agree that the Caliphate is divine function and is instituted by Allah. They believe it must be done by Muslims (in this case by them) even if it needs to overthrow an existing government to acquire a place and base to operate from – a militant and terrorist view not allowed in Islam. They have totally misunderstood the verse and misconstrue it to suit their purpose.

In an intense debate with one of the followers in Sydney Australia ( most of them go  incognito), I told the person that their brand of  Islam will not last even one second in USA.

Plus, I said there is no place for a second system of Caliphate since the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has already established a flourishing Khalifat which is growing be leaps and bounds.

Red with anger, the man said, ” In that case any other caliphate must go, will be taken down.”

I ended the debate by stating, ” Well first establish yours. And let me tell you it ill never happen. It will remain a wishful thinking. Khilafa is not established by man. It is instituted by Allah just like it happened in Jamaat Ahmadiyya.”
