A graduate student has done a documentary film on the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community with added focus on the plight of Ahmadis and their persecution within Pakistan and now their lives here in the USA.
The film by Mallika Aryal is titled “A Place in the World”.
The project began a year ago with Ahmadi youth’s cooperation and now the film will be shown this weekend at the NYU film festival.
A Place in the World will be shown from 3:30-4:10pm on February 4, 2011 at at 19 University Place.

I watched it at the NYU premier of this documentary.
It is a beautifully done film with a very captivating voice.
I am amazed how little the new generation of
Pakistani know about these crime happening in their
own backyard!
