GUJRANWALA: Pakistan Muslim League –Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah would be turning in his grave after seeing Pakistan’s current situation.
While addressing a public rally in Jinnah Stadium, Gujranwala, Sharif said that Pakistan is 64 years old now and yet it has achieved nothing. “People don’t have food to eat, or clean drinking water, there is no electricity, there is gas shortage, and joblessness had made life miserable.”
Leader of the Opposition Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, addressing the gathering criticised Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan by saying that Khan cannot fool the nation by making false promises.
He claimed that his party PML-N defeated former President Pervez Musharraf and it will again defeat the cronies of Musharraf.
‘Democracy’ is overrated. Politicians have to slander each other.
The situation in Pakistan (and in most of the world actually) is serious enough for any able persons to get together to try and solve the country’s (and the world’s) problems without wasting time attacking each other…
Let the best person(s) be chosen!
