Announcing the release of the highly acclaimed book: ‘Love in the Holy Quran.’

by H.R.H. Prince Ghazi bin Muhammed of Jordan.

“An outstanding work, worthy of praise and esteem for its method, its content and its language.”
—H.E. Imam Prof. Dr Ahmad Muhammad al-Tayyib
Grand Sheikh of al-Azhar and
supervisor of the thesis at al-Azhar University

Kazi Publications is excited to announce that it has just published the official English translation of Prince Ghazi’s monumental and widely-praised “Love in the Holy Quran” that is sure to forever change how you understand and engage with the Quran.

The Book

The author treats, in a simple and accessible style with reader-friendly and teaching-friendly features, not only of love of God and love of the neighbour, but also of family love; friendship; the stages of falling in love; sexual love; extra-marital love; beauty; taste and much more, all based entirely on the Holy Qur’an.

At least one verse from every chapter—and over one fifth of the total text—of the Holy Qur’an is cited.

It is written and structured both to be read in its totality and as individual ‘stand-alone’ chapters to be sampled at will. This work is thus essential reading not only for Muslims and those interested in Islam and the Holy Qur’an, but for all those interested in the secrets and mysteries of love as such.

  1. Scores of time the Holy Quran mentions that Allah helps and loves those who are service minded. For example:

And he who submits himself completely to Allah, and is a doer of good, he has surely grasped a strong handle. And with Allah rests the end of all affairs. (Al Quran 31:23)

And as for those who strive in Our path — We will surely guide them in Our ways. And verily Allah is with those who do good. (Al Quran 29:70)

With a little effort I could quote a dozen or a score of such verses from the Holy Quran. The very first verse of the Holy Quran brings out the image of the Merciful and Gracious God, “In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.” Every chapter or Sura of the Holy Quran begins with this very verse except for one.

The crown verse of the Holy Quran is soon followed by the verse that preaches of complete and perfect religious freedom hence linking the two issues that a believer who submits to the majesty and glory of Allah, cannot perceive violating religious freedom of fellow humans. Read the two verses below. The crown verse of the Holy Quran:

“Allah — there is no God but He, the Living, the Self-Subsisting and All-Sustaining. Slumber seizes Him not, nor sleep. To Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Who is he that will intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them; and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He pleases. His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth; and the care of them burdens Him not; and He is the High, the Great.” (Al Quran 2:256)

The verse that follows and preaches religious freedom is:

“There should be no compulsion in religion. Surely, right has become distinct from wrong; so whosoever refuses to be led by those who transgress, and believes in Allah, has surely grasped a strong handle which knows no breaking. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.” (Al Quran 2:257)
