President Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in a national teleconference with the presentation of the Industrialization Map projects launched during the second half of 2011 in Astana on December 9 at the Saryarka Republican Track Cycling Centre. Nursultan Nazarbayev launched industrial facilities in the regions via video-conference, including the processing section of the Sokolov-Sarbaiskoye ore-dressing production association in the Kostanay region, the production of the Akku tablet computers, TVs and monitors production plant in the Mangistau region, “Alibekmola” and “Kozhasai” gas utilization complex in the Aktobe region. Other projects included a medical equipment plant in the Zhambyl region, a cathode copper plant in the Karaganda region, a vitriol plant in the Kyzylorda region, the Semipalatinsk leather and fur industrial plant in the East Kazakhstan region, a meat processing complex in the Almaty region, and a chemical plant in the Atyrau region. In the Pavlodar region, the President reviewed the completion of a turbine assembly line and of a boiler unit at the Pavlodarenergo enterprise which had undergone restoration.
