Koran exhibition comes to Cranbourne

SHEDDING light on the true teachings of the Koran is the main focus of a Cranbourne exhibition this weekend.

Organised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association of Victoria, member Naureen Chaudhry said the group wanted to remove fears and misconceptions about the book.

“It’s a sacred scripture and we should teach it with respect, but Koran is a scripture just like all others and it should be studied and investigated,’’ Ms Chaudhry said.

“People who attend the exhibition will learn the Koran teaches to practice peace, moderation, love and life and that god is all loving and caring.’’

  1. What a wonderful way to let people see for themselves what the Quran is all about. Hope this and other such exhibitions are successful in removing misconceptions about Islam and its holy scripture.
