Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda is scheduled to open an annual national Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat-Tanzania conference to be held in Dar es Salaam on Friday this week.

An official statement issued by leader and missionary in-charge of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat-Tanzania Sheikh Tahir Mahmood Chaudhry in Dar es Salaam yesterday said the national conference would be attended by members of the Ahmadiyya community, invited guests from other religions and leaders of civil societies, government leaders and other dignitaries.

The cleric said the conference would discuss a number of issues including peace and obligation to their creator and fellow human beings.

This is the 42th annual conference (in Tanzania), known in the Ahmadiyya circles as ‘Jalsa Salana’, which was pioneered by the founder of the community, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.
