A Malaysian court ruling that allowed a Catholic newspaper to use the word “Allah†to refer to the Christian God has sparked such widespread and heated debate in the country, splitting political parties as well as families, and drawing a wave of negative reactions on a social networking site.

It is so unfortunate that the Malaysian Muslims are being so narrow-minded. They should have taken the Christian use of the word as a compliment rather than an offence or insult.
Additionally, they even do not realize that Facebook is made and sustained by people from Judeo-Christian background so if they so wanted they could deactivate their protest page. Malaysian Muslims, at least in this instance, are acting as someone with high ego and low IQ, a very dangerous combination. They should have at least pondered over this verse of the Holy Quran:
Say, ‘O People of the Book! come to a word equal between us and you — that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partner with Him, and that some of us take not others for Lords beside Allah.’ But if they turn away, then say, ‘Bear witness that we have submitted to God.’ (Al Quran 3:65)
