Toronto police are responding after what appears to be the second attack against the Muslim community in southern Ontario since last Friday’s terror attacks in Paris.
This time, authorities say it was a Muslim woman who was allegedly attacked from behind and beaten by two male suspects Monday while picking up her children from a school in North York.

According to police, the woman was at Grenoble Public School, southeast of Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East, at 3 p.m. That’s when two male suspects allegedly approached the woman beside the school, pulled her hijab aggressively and took her cell phone, police confirmed.
The suspects allegedly called the woman a terrorist and told her to go back to her country, police added.
The woman, whose name and age has not been made public at this time, was taken to hospital with minor injuries and has since been released.
Police added there was also some anti-Muslim graffiti found near the Flemington Park area, where the incident took place, but say there’s no reason to believe the two events are linked.
The first suspect is described by police as a 30-year-old white male who stands five feet, seven inches with a medium build and full beard. He was wearing a white checkered shirt and construction boots.
There’s much less known about the second suspect, who is believed to be a white male who was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt.
On Saturday, a mosque in Peterborough, Ont., was hit by arson in a suspected hate crime.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477.
Toronto police say they are treating a brazen assault on a Muslim woman near an elementary school in the Flemingdon Park area as a hate crime.
The woman was picking up her children from Grenoble Public School on Monday when she was attacked by two men, police told 680 NEWS and CityNews.
Police said the incident occurred around 3 p.m. near Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East.
The two men approached the woman and started hurling anti-Islamic and racist profanities at her.

I am from Vancouver,Canada and I wanted to say that the former conservative gov’t in Canada promoted these kind of hate crimes against Muslim Women and Men in Canada.Prime Minister Trudeau is doing something about this by getting rid of the laws passed by the former gov’t that promoted these kind of crimes. This is a good step in the right direction in getting rid of hate crimes in Canada.
People in Canada who commit such crimes against Muslim Women should have to spend many years in prison.Hopefully the people who assaulted the Muslim Woman in Toronto will be caught soon and have to spend many years in prison for it.
What else can be expected from the politically correct multiculturalists who are to blind to see that what they are defending is not shared by those they claim to speak for?
