Mataram, April 17, 2026 — Ahlul Bait Indonesia (ABI) West Nusa Tenggara Region held a meeting of various organizations and community institutions on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in the context of Halal Bihalal as well as the 40th day commemoration of Imam Ali Khamenei’s martyrdom at Husainiyah Al Muntazar, Mataram City.
This activity was attended by a number of organizations and institutions, including the Interfaith Harmony Forum (FKUB), the Terrorism Prevention Coordination Forum (FKPT), Nahdlatul Wathan Diniyah IslamABI NTB Holds a Cross-Organization Forum, Strengthening the Unity of the Ummah Amidst Global Dynamics (NWDI), the Indonesian Ahmadiyah Congregation (JAI), the Nahdlatul Ulama Youth Association (IPNU), and Rabithah Alawiyah.

The Chairman of ABI NTB stated that the meeting served as a consolidation platform to strengthen solidarity and maintain the unity of Muslims amidst global dynamics and internal challenges.
“This forum is a joint effort to maintain unity and strengthen communal solidarity,” he said.
In his lecture, Ustadz Hasyim Umar Alhabsyi, the advisor of the Ahlul Bait NTB Regional Leadership Council (DPW), emphasized the importance of steadfastness in the face of various forms of global injustice. He noted that the journey of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, led by Imam Khomeini and continued by Imam Ali Khamenei, demonstrated consistency in resisting oppression.
“Resistance against injustice will always find a way,” he said.

Prof. Dr. Jamaludin, representing the NWDI, expressed his support for efforts to strengthen communal solidarity. He cited TGB Muhammad Zainul Majdi’s guidance as a reference for building a collective stance among Muslims in Lombok to maintain unity and strengthen their position amidst global dynamics.
He hopes that similar forums can continue as a space for dialogue and strengthening Islamic brotherhood.
The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere and featured cross-organizational dialogue. The discussion focused on finding common ground between religious narratives within the Shia and Sunni traditions.
FKUB representative Lalu Abdurahim explained that Sasak culture is closely linked to Islamic history, particularly in its reverence for the Prophet Muhammad’s Ahlulbait. He noted that the tradition of reciting the Barzanji is strong evidence of this.
“The values of Ahlulbait have been alive in the traditions of the Lombok people for a long time,” he said.

FKPT representative, Jauhari Muslim, emphasized his institution’s commitment to continue promoting religious unity through dialogue and collaborative programs.
“Cross-organizational collaboration is key to maintaining social harmony and stability,” he said.
This meeting is seen as an initial step that will be followed up through ongoing collaboration between religious organizations and community institutions in West Nusa Tenggara.
