Rise and fall of societies

Source: Pakistan Observer

Evidently, those who followed these rules of right conduct thrived and prospered, and were saved from the tyranny and injustice of the wrong-doers; and on the contrary, those who violated these principles, committing sin and straying from the right path, came to grief, pain and sorrow. These are the eternal principles which governed the rise and fall of nations, communities and societies. By way of conclusion, it may be said that, “history” established the truth that certain principles and ideals should be followed for the preservation of nations, and neglect of which brings their disintegration. When these eternal rules of conduct govern human action, they yield benefits to humanity.

  1. Good to read these views. Pakistani society needs total change of mind set and reformation. To achieve it one needs continuous feeding on such principles. Similarly who so ever feeding it aught be of very high stature enabling the listeners to follow advises in letter and spirit. Currently Pakistani Society is void of such personalities. Latest on Shaikul Islam came to teach morals to nation. What is his background needs no explanation. So first search for some one who can lead this nation with high standard of personal character and then hope for some improvement.
