The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, established in the Gambia in the early 1960’s, recently installed 10 solar energy panels in 10 villages across the Gambia.
This was disclosed at a press briefing held at the Ahmadiyya Hospital in Tallinding. Speaking at a press briefing, Muhammed Faheen, a professor in the United Kingdom, said that the project is part of the activities of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, geared towards contributing to the development of The Gambia.
He revealed that few years ago similar installations were carried out in other villages around the country.
You will basically create your own solar panel coming from each part. You can place your order online, especially the photo voltaic cells. You can assemble the parts in a complete 80W, 100W, and 120W solar panel. If you are not confident enough to create your own solar panel from scratch, then the best thing to do is to purchase a commercial solar panel. These individual solar panels should be wired together to be able to create a huge solar array.’
