A three-day Quran conference started in the afternoon of Friday, April 5, 2013 and ended with great success at Bait-ur-Rahman Mosque, 15000 Good Hope Road, Silver Spring, Maryland.

Imams and scholars from different disciplines delivered lectures and presentations on various aspects of the Holy Quran. Special emphasis was given on the current hot topics of world’s peace, true concept of Jihad, Muslim’s loyalty for their homeland and creating harmony among family and social circles.

The conference especially aimed at increasing spirituality by inspiring relationship with the Living God of Islam.  Additionally, it highlighted God of nature and God of human conscience, as presented by Islam and the Quran, by covering the topic of science and the Holy Quran.

This conference was organized by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the oldest Muslim organization in the USA, which believes in promoting peaceful dialogue and harmonious co-existence among all religions and walks of life. For over a century the Community has maintained peace through love and mutual understanding. Its motto ‘Love for all, hatred for none’ is renowned worldwide.

The conference was attended by approximately a thousand participants from all over the country.
