Behind a large Christian majority, and excluding the non-religious, the census reveals that Muslims are the second largest religious group, and are also the fastest growing. There are now more than 2.7million Muslims in England and Wales, an increase of over one million since 2001.
Unsurprisingly, these statistics have been met with alarm on the right-wing. Commentators such as Douglas Murray point to the growing Muslim population as indicative of Britain’s “troubling future“. This follows similar concerns voiced by figures such as former leader of the UK Independence Party, Lord Pearson, who stated in one video: “The fact is that Muslims are breeding ten times faster than us… I do not know at what point they reach such a number that we are no longer able to resist the rest of their demands, but if we do not do something now, within the next year or two, we have, in effect, lost”.

If the Muslims shun politics and continue to serve the British peacefully, there should be no fear. But that never happens. As soon as one group gets majority (say Muslims), they try to take over to the detriment of the others. They forget the good opportunity, fair deal, religious liberty provided by the locals (The British) over a long period. They (The Muslims)would try to become the rulers. That is the bad side of things.
Otherwise, if there was no politics, there is no cause for any alarm.
But it requires real honesty and selfless, spiritual outlook on life that is only possible through a man of God.
The right approach for the Muslims will be to assure the British people that they would honestly support the liberal British rule forever and will not try to put pressure or to seize power. Could it ever be possible? Because, other than the Ahmadi Muslims, the other Muslims do not have any spiritual leader.

Let all the law-abiding and peace-loving people of UK and the whole world also know that Islam, the last revealed religion of God Almighty, for the whole mankind is also called as the natural ‘Deen’, a natural way of life for whole of humanity for all the time to come, God willing, InshaAllah. So if a time comes when the believers of Islam become a numerical majority in UK, the British people and its society will gain much more valuable, everlasting benefits of all kinds which will make them, the best of all people( KhaireUmmat)and it will make them thankful to those who brought and taught them the true and truthful lessons of Islam in practical shape
and form and they gradually became a part of them, willingly and voluntarily by the grace of God. And you must also know that this divinely assigned job is being performed in UK by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community under the supreme leadership of the fifth Caliph of Islam-e-Ahmadiyyat,Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad Sahib, Khalifatul Masih Alkhamis(aba). Alhamdolillah.
When I see the Media either Print or Electronic it always has a news about an individual who has done something wrong but the Media targets to a religion ONLY if that individual is a Muslim. If he/she is not a Muslim then the person will simply be titled immoral or dishonest within a society; in this case, Media will never target a Religion. Such a difference in Interpretation clearly raises doubt in my mind.
I’ve lived most of my life in Malaysia, Indonesia, Bahrain, and Qatar and I don’t see any problems living with a Muslim.
I’ve never seen Media reporting anything wrong about Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Atheist, etc. Is it simply because these religions have not a single bad person in this whole planet or is it because the handful group of people want the world to Only see what they believe is True?
As an example, If Mr A disrespects Mr B every day & night by saying that ‘You’re a bad person and your forefathers were bad and therefore you do not have any right to live in this world’, seriously what do you expect in response from Mr B in a longer term?
What I believe is the World can be in Peace if we together can remove the hatred from the hearts of people who have been disregarded in the society or who have been the victims of war around the globe. Unfortunately, most of them are Muslims.
