The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Shimoga (Karnatak, India) Partnered With Rotary International Shimoga & hosted a successful “Blood Donation Drive” on 16th Dec 2012 at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Masjid Premises, Shimoga towards World Peace and 121st Annual Gathering at Qadian, Punjab.

The memorial blood drive started at 09:30 am with the recitation of The Holy Quran Versus followed by the Nazam with the local Kannada Language Mastering Cermony. The programm had one Kannada Speech and the whole event was advertised on a projector in an consumer fair in the city.

The noble event was accompanied with the Delegatory team from Shimoga Mid Town Rotary International and The chief Guest Dr.Sanjay K.N (Chief Medical Officer Rotary International Shimoga), Dr Dhananjay Sirji ( Medical Director,Vatsalya Hospital, Shimoga ), Mr Somachar ( C.B.I. Officer ), Mr Prashant K.L a social activist and The President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Shimoga and its members.

The event was well organised by the Majlis Khuddam-Ul-Ahmadiyya and was well supported by Lajna, Ansarullah & Atfal as well. The preprations were started well in advance and the venue was the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosque Shimoga’s Library Hall. The event was organised and all majlis members meticulously Co-Ordinated with each other and took care of all arrangements.

( C.M.O Rotary International Shimgoa said, “I Have witnessed and executed many blood donation drives but this donation drive is and EYE OPENER for me and most emotional Blood Donation Drive i have witnessed ever and for the first time in my life I am involved and feel proud to be associated with Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in this Blood Donation Drive, The vision that the Holy Founder of Ahmadiyya Jamaat has to be implemented by all the nations for the global peace he added ”. Also he appreciated the role of “Jamaat” and “Humanity First” for rendering the services to Humanity.”

Recalling the incident of an infant with the need of a rare blood group another Chief Guest Dr Dhananjay Sirji said there should be many more blood donation drives to fulfil the need of blood for the emergencies.He also explained very logically how safe is to donate blood and how one can save lives not one life by donating blood. He also appreciated the work of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat rendering different works of social responsibility and he took part in the Blood donation and donated his blood for the noble cause.Other.

All the guests for the event were delighted and appreciated the vision and works of Jamaat. The event was Concluded by a short speech by President Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Janab Mir Siraj-Ul-Haq followed by silent prayer (DUA)
