Alhamdulillah, the Bangalore branch of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community under the banner of “Humanity First” participated along with many other organizations to set the New World Record for the Largest ‘Health Awareness’ Programme at a single Venue. The Attempt was organized by the Danish Pharmaceutical Company Novo Nordisk at the Palace Grounds, Bangalore on Sunday the 11th of November in which 2621 people participated to set the Record. The Chief Guest for the occasion was the very popular N Santosh Hegde who is a former justice of the Supreme Court Of India, former Solicitor General of India and was Lokayukta for Karnataka State of India, who is currently a member of “TEAM ANNA” (A Nationwide Anti-Corruption Team lead by Anna Hazare)

About 35 members of the Jamaat including Khuddam, Ansar and Lajna headed by Dr. Syed Javaz (Senior Diabetologist and member of Bangalore Jamaat), took a bus ride through Bangalore City to the venue and took part in the good cause.

In addition to this the Community will be organizing a Walkthon (March) at Wilson Garden Bangalore Followed by a Free Diabetes Detection and Awareness Camp at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosque Premises on Sunday the 18th of November to primarily express solidarity to the Cause as part of Khidmat-e-Khalq and Humanity first activity. The Walkathon will be participated by members of the Jamaat, volunteers and staff from the Hospitals, clinics in the area, neighbors, school children and other organizations.

Good to know activities in Bangalore. On Eid-ul Adhia occassion were there with Amir of Germany and Dr Muzafar Bajwa. Happened to discuss with Mr Waliuddin of Bangalore for more activties of the jamaat and now this good news. Bangalore Jamaat has much more capacity to influence the srroundings.
