The Muslim Outlook – by Shahid Pervaiz
At many a times, a question is raised about the True Tribute of Ahmadiyya Contributions to Islam; does it stand to introduce some fundamental changes to the very doctrine of Islam or does it suggest any new ways and practices for Muslims – is it a new religion or has it offered any fundamental changes to Islamic Teachings?
The short answer is: ‘NO!’
Ahmadiyyat – as it initiated with the Holy Advent of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian as “The Promised Messiah of the Later Days” is nothing but “Islam in its very Original State”.
The belief about a Messiah of the later days is not strange to any Muslim Schools of Thought; even most of other religions also bear a similar belief about the coming of a Savior.
In the sequel of religious evolution, Islam offers itself as the Most Comprehensive Code of Life for all Human beings of all Eras and Regions. Therefore the Messiah of the Later Days offers Islam for All the mankind.
Reform – as a word tends to contain a tint of meanings close to reconstruction with additions; therefore, Ahmadiyyat (in that sense) is not a “Reform” to Islamic Teachings.
More so, it presents Islam in its “Unbiased Original State” – A Religion of Peace for All.
In the words of The Holy Founder of Ahmadiyyat (as) it is described as below:
The gist of our faith is: La iLaha ilLallah Muhammad urRasulUllah
There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
Our belief, which we hold in this life here on earth and to which we will continue to adhere firmly till the time that we pass on to the next world, is that our spiritual leader and master, Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be on him, is the Seal of the Prophets and the Best of the Messengers. At his hands religion has been perfected and blessings of Allah has been consummated which lead man to the right path and further on to God Himself. We hold this positive belief with absolute certainty that the Holy Quran is the seal of all Divine books and not an iota can be added to or subtracted from its prescribed teachings, inhibitions, commands and injunctions. There will be no revelation or word from God which may amend or abrogate or change or alter any of the injunctions of the Holy Quran. If anyone subscribes to such views, in our opinion, he ceases to belong to the body of the believers and becomes an infidel thereby. (Izala e Auham : Roohani Khazain Vol. 3: Page 169)

Hearty thanks and Jazakallah for this posting. Of all the seventy-two/three sects of the Muslims, only the Ahmadiyyat presents true Islam and therefore it is pertinently called,’Islam-e-Ahmadiyyat’. Let all of us loudly raise the voice of our slogan, ‘Long live Islam-e-Ahmadiyyat and Zinda-o-Paindabad Khilafat-e-Haqqa Ahmadiyya Islamia. Ameen.
When obedience to Allah and following the way of His Messenger s.a. have been discarded, and many people have become daalleen and some maghdoub [1:7], and hypocrite leaders will be misguiding the people, Allah will appoint someone for their restoration [4:70], as per the promise of revial of the deen in every century of Islam.
This posting makes an interesting hopeful reading. The belief regarding the advent of a Messiah in the later days is the common feature of all the Muslim schools of thought and believers of other religions are also awaiting the coming or the ‘Nazool, of the Savior also called the promised Messiah or Masih-e-Maud. And it was exactly this positive hopefulness about the arrival of the expected Savior, about whom the Iranian President Mr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in his UN General Assembly speech that with the ascension of the expected, promised Messiah, will soon usher in a new era of hope, love, peace and spiritual brotherly unity of all the people for all the time to come, InshaAllah. Here please note the difference between Iranian President and the Ahmadiyya point of view about the Expected Messiah, the Savior. The Ahmadis believe the expected Savior has come, at the rightly declared time of the initiation of 14th century of Islamic Hijra, in the person of Hazrat-e-Aqdus Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian who had announced his Arrival, Nazool or Ascension exactly 123 years ago, on 23rd March,1889. While other sectarian Muslims or believers of other religions, continue their awaiting or prolonging their expectation period. By the grace of God Almighty, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has spread its strong organizational set-up in more than 200 countries of the world, Alhamdolillah. Therefore, let all the Ahmadis through the world tell and inform their neighbors that the Expected Savior has come by the grace of God Almighty and particularly the Muslims of all sects must obey and comply the guideline instructions of the holy prophet of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad, pbuh, and all the informed ones, must join the community/Jamma’at of Masih-e-Maud, named as ‘Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’ and thus convey ‘Salaam’ of the Prophet of Islam to the declared/ appeared, Masih-e-Maud.Here let all of us read and recite the following golden pious verse of HazrateAqdus,Masih-e-Maud:- Bejh darood us Mohsin par tu din mein so so bar, Pak Muhammad Mustfa sab Nabyoon ka Sardar. AlhamdolillaheyRabbilAlameen.
