We are not a nation. We are a mob.

Instead of condemning mob violence, Bhutto, the great progressive democrat, did exactly what the mob demanded.

As if overnight the Ahmadi community that had played a major role in the creation of Pakistan and was one of the most vigorous contributors to the new country’s economy, was reduced to becoming second-class citizens.

How many Pakistanis questioned Bhutto’s cynical move or JI’s politics of hate? None.

  1. Thanks to Nadeem Piracha for correcting the history of these “humans” which have turned into “animals” – an evolution process which got reversed in Pakistan. “Blood in the name of Religion” got the religious scholars’ sanction. Islam – as a “moral code” has been turned into a “Pagan Religion”. Human being needs to be sacrificed regularly at the alter of “fanaticism” to quench this pagan god’s thirst. Like you said, from the civilian mullahs – Bhutto, BB and NS to the military mullahs, men llike Zia and Musharaf, all have bowed their heads and worshipped the Pagan god, and the ritual of “human sacrifice” .
Claiming to be the so called “leader of the Muslim World”, 1.2 billions of humans have been lined up to be sent to this pagan alter. And, the rest of mankind stare on at this phenomenon – an evolved stage of the “Fall of Man” – wide eyed, helped by the god – Google .
And, Amir Liaqat and company along with the “learned” TV anchors will not stop to add fuel by declaring their unflinching LOVE for this “Pagan Religion” and the ritual of “human sacrifice”.

  2. I am an Ismaili. I have an Ahmedi friend in Mombasa and my homoeopath is an Ahmedi, too. I am quite impressed with your work, achievements and often cutting, albeit even-headed analyses. Thanks.

  3. (Just lost my previous comment under composition – sorry…)

I am an Ismaili. I have an Ahmedi friend and my homoeopath is an Ahmedi. He’s a wonderful doctor and wonderful, open-minded, serious and committed man (never before have I come across someone who is so concerned about patients and takes such a relaxed leisurely approach to healing).

I am impressed by your work and your critical analyses, too. Well researched, appealing to logic and sympathetic, I feel you Ahmedis are upholding a comparatively high standard in Islam. I condemn all people who use their influence to persuade the masses to turn to prejudice and violence instead of doing what is required: Appeal to humanity in the human community for which we humans were created.

I was particularly impressed with an article referred to me in your reference library on the difficult question of the executions of the Bani Quraidha. Thanks for being informative and committed to your mission. It is work that is bound to be rewarded by Allah.
