Dawn: Police say they are investigating whether a cleric who allegedly tried to frame a Christian girl for blasphemy should be charged with insulting Islam himself.
Police officer Munir Jafferi said officials registered the blasphemy case against Khalid Jadoon Chishti on Monday.
Police arrested Chisti on Saturday after a member of the cleric’s mosque accused him of stashing pages from the copy of the holy Quran in the girl’s bag to make it seem like she burned pages containing verses from the holy book.
Chishti has denied the allegation.

Interesting. Would be really a nice change if the Pakistani courts do something right for a change.
If he added the Quranic or other religious pages to be burnt, he was himself committing the crime that he was framing the girl for. Additionally, the Holy Quran also at times suggests the principle of tit for tat. Here please focus on the principle of reciprocation, rather than on other details:

In the case under discussion the ‘blood money’ would be the Mullahs agreeing to the repeal of the Blasphemy laws. Otherwise, they keep providing reasons to charge their leadership with the same laws that they propose for others. They should be given a taste of their own medicine. This is the only suitable “retaliation,” in which is the security of Pakistani nation, O men of understanding.
Absolutely true!
