Once upon a time this was mentioned in a meeting with Christians in the Swiss Mission. They did not like the argument…
(sort of ‘he is ours, not yours’!
When Quran makes it implicit every child born is a Muslim – clean and pure unlearned yet in the art of forming intent, sorting what’s right and what’s wrong, and has no notions and prejudices then Jesus was definitely born Muslim.
My observation is that according to the Holy Quran, all the prophets mentioned in it were muslims in the sense that they believed in the one and only God.
Right. Not only Jesus, we being a Muslim must believe that every Prophet that happened till date was a Muslim. Including Prophet Krishna and Budha.
Surprised? well to make a long argument short. If God is one all the Prophets must have come from Him only. They must have the same purpose and agenda. Hence every religion that existed before Islam, was a primary shape of Islam. Allah has very clearly called them Muslim ( the submissive to God), Momins (believers) who offered Salaat in Quran. This is another argument that their Salaat too was a bit different then the final shape of salaat that we offered today. They also fasted, they also did sacrifices etc. They also paid zakaat in a bit different way. Every Prophet gave the message of god’s being the only deity but But Alas for the heedless man, when every time the prophet passed away they changed the divine message and sometime out of shear ignorance adopted the ways against the real spirit of the message. And adopted fake gods, some even tried to portray the Prophet himself as God.Until it was finalized and given the final name of Islam.
God finalised the religion and said this time He is going to guard its teaching the Holy Book Quran until the dooms day.No one will be able to change it this time.
But off course people will try to put doubts in religion for which he by the mouth of His Final law bearing Prophet announced that when Islam will be made additions a reformer Prophet by the name of Mehdi, and Messiah within the folds of Islam will advent. And in different relating from the Holy Prophet has given very clear signs of His era.
Now this is not a co-incident that at the same time almost every major religion of the world is waiting for a reformer. Because the Prophet and their Holy Books foretold them that a certain Grand Prophet Will come at the end of the times. It was in the early form Prophesied about the Holy Prophet of Islam. Many from these different religions did accept him and became ummat-e-waahidah. One Grand Nation of Islam. But many are still left behind. Later Islam also faced declined from the hands of interpretation and many sect and traditions were formed. Hence A promised one was Prophesied within
the fold of Islam who will remove these additions. The Prophet of Islam called with the name “Nabiullah” consistently three time in one Hadith.
As I was saying every religion is waiting for a reformer at this time in this very age.
If the Creator of this universe and whole mankind is one then for sure this Promised one should have come to unite them all.
Hence that is why we say our beginning was one with the same one message. It must conclude at one hand.
Now someone can say if in the beginning there had been the need of so many Prophets why now one?
In eraly days there use to be more one prophet at a time in the same area. Because the means of communication and transport were not rapid.Now if a man speaks from as far as seven sea, even then the whole world can receive listen to his message.
It is not difficult to understand how God wants to unite mankind in brother hood.
Linguistically speaking the Arabic World Muslim means the ONE WHO SUBMITS & OBEYS ALLAH IN PEACE-SO ALL THE PREVIOUS,PRESENT AND FUTURE HUMANS COULD BE ABSOLUTELY CORRECTLY CALLED” MUSLIMS “. WE, Ahmadies follow and do our best to practise THE EVERLASTING PEACEFUL TEACHINGS OF THE HOLY QURAN TO LOVE ALL AND HATE NONE WHATSOEVER!-ALHAMDO LILAHE RAB UL ALAMEEN.
