An evangelical spokesperson for a religious group known as Truth In Action has claimed that the tragedy in Colorado happened because America has lost its fear of hell.
In an article published on OneNewsNow, evangelical Jerry Newcombe wrote:
I can’t help but feel that to some extent, we’re reaping what we’ve been sowing as a society. We said to God, “Get out of the public arena.” Lawsuit after lawsuit, often by misguided “civil libertarians,” have chased away any fear of God in the land — at least in the hearts of millions.
Newcombe is not alone in reacting this way to the shooting in Aurora that claimed 12 deaths and left dozens of people injured. On the day of the shooting Rep. Gohmert of Texas also insisted that the shootings are the result of “ongoing attacks on Judeo-Christian Beliefs”:

one can only say Mullahs exist in every religion.
The Colorado shooting makes one feel sad, shocked and ashamed at what the extremists are out to do unthinkable inhuman acts of barbarity. The unfortunate victims deserve help, sympathy of words and needs. But the views of the Evangelical leader are not acceptable for the overwhelming society. His words sounded like the inhuman act of distributing sweets inside walled locality, by the extremists mullah of the town when suicide bombers at two places of worship of God killed more than 90 worshipers on Friday, May 28,2010. Yes rightly said the mullah of all religions are of limited mind and mean thinking.
Additionally, Christianity has often presented an unjust and arbitrary God. In Romans in the New Testament we read:
Esau is condemned and hated even before he is born!
“JUDEO-CHRIRSTIAN” is a Zionist invention after Holocaust.
Majority Christians hate Jews because, they think (CORRECTLY), that Jews were responsible for the Crucifiction. Jews hate Christians for persecution in Spain & Germany.
